I’ve been laughing at myself lately because it seems like everything is going to pot. I keep having random issues pop up no matter how well I plan things out. I’m already annoyed with August and can’t wait for September to get here. Other than my comical Rube Goldberg machine of problems, things have been ok. Work has been busy and I’ve just been focusing on taking time for myself and do things that I enjoy. One of the things that I enjoy is obviously nail polish so I’m super excited to share the KBShimmer Throwback Collection with you today. Let’s check out my swatches below.

The KBShimmer Throwback Collection, released to celebrate their 10th anniversary, contains 8 fan favorite shades from 2012 and 2013. These are truly iconic shades and I am so glad that they brought them back especially Teal Another Tail. I know that this particular shade has been on many ISO lists so many people will be happy! Most of the other shades are mostly the crelly polishes that KBShimmer is so known for and that they excel at. With the exception of Clown Puke, all of the shades required 2 coats for full opacity. I am very impatient when it comes to polishing my nails, but I have learned that when I am dealing with crellies, it is very important to let the first coat dry before going in with the second coat. Clown Puke is such a fun glitter topper! I dabbed on one coat over a white base to really let the different glitters shine. I don’t have a lot of the originals so I am not 100% sure how close they are to the originals, but the recipes have been updated so there may be slight differences. It is so hard to pick a favorite, but Shipwreck just calls to me. The depth of this polish is mesmerizing and the color combination of the base color and the glitters is just stunning. Elle, Band Geek and Teal Another Tail are my other must haves…actually, just get them all! You won’t be disappointed by any of them! The KBShimmer Throwback Collection will go on sale on 8/15/18 at kbshimmer.com where each shade will retail for $10. I also recommend that you join the KBShimmer fan group on Facebook to get all the details first.

I am in love with that gray Elle. That is so pretty. My second favorite is No Whine Left. Clown Puke? Ugh, disgusting name, but it’s a fun chunky glitter topper.
