Coming off the long weekend felt really nice. I have a lot of stuff going on at work right now which is both exciting and exhausting. I definitely needing the long weekend to recharge and get a burst of energy. I’m glad that the weather is starting to cool off a bit so that my electric bill doesn’t continue to be $200–ha! Today I have another beautiful collection of polishes to share with you. The Prism Polish UK Ocean Wonders Collection has some real stunners that you will not want to miss out on. Let’s take a look at my swatches below.
Named after the soft coral found in the Atlantic and Pacific oceans, Sea Strawberry is a juicy raspberry pink filled with colour shifting shimmer, sparkling holo, larger gold sparkles and curled holo flakies.
Mahi-mahi is named after the colour changing dolphin fish . A pink/green/gold shifting super sparkly multichrome with blue/purple at extreme edges.
A type of protein that allow squid & cuttlefish to change colour! This is a UV reactive sky blue to dark purple filled with colour shifting flakies, iridescent flakies and shimmer.
Named after the blue feather starfish, Feather Star is a deep sapphire blue filled with turquoise/blue/purple shifting super sparkly shimmer. Dries to a bright metallic foil effect.
Icefish is a brand new super sparkly turquoise/purple/blue shifting iridescent flakie topper polish. This polish was inspired by the translucent iridescent Antarctic Icefish.
Named for the freely floating flora that drift with the ocean currents, Phytoplankton is a deep green/blue jelly filled with blue/green shifting super sparkly UP sister pigment and a healthy dose of colour shifting iridescent flakies. Made as a sheer jelly polish to allow the sparkles to shine through and build beautiful depth, this polish will take 3 coats to become opaque or would benefit from a base polish if you only want to use one coat.
There are some serious beauties in this collection but I must say that that Phytoplankton is my runaway favorite. It has so much depth and that green is just incredibly luscious! I did three coats for this polish since it has a jelly base, but all other polishes only required two coats. Icefish is a glitter topper so I only applied one coat of that over the deep blue. You could definitely wear it alone, but you would need at least 3 coats.
The Prism Polish UK Ocean Wonders Collection is available now at color4nails.com where they retail for $14.00 each. Let me know if you have any favorites and if you will be picking up any of these shades. Thanks so much for stopping by today, and I will talk to you soon!
