Hello everyone! I failed today at scheduling my post so it’s showing up a little later than usual. I blame my foggy brain since so much stuff has been going on at home lately. Nail polish and blogging is still a nice distraction so I’m happy to have this hobby to entertain me when I need it. Today I have a special duo to share with you that was created for a special cause. The Geekish Glitter Lacquer Victims’ Rights Week Duo will be releasing soon as a pre-order so let me show you some swatches before I give you all the details.
Surviving Can Be Beautiful
This is a steel blue to violet duochrome polish with silver holographic microglitter. The formula was so butter and smooth and packed with pigment. My swatches show two coats with a quick dry top coat.
Set The World On Fire With Your Truth
This is a kiwi green to muted pink duochrome polish with gold holographic microglitter. I think that the combination of green and pink gives it an almost coppery/brown tint which I really like. Again, the formula was nice and pigmented and only required 2 coats.
These are both really pretty polishes and your purchase of these will support a worthy cause. The Victim’s Rights Week duo releases on April 7th at 12pm MST as a preorder for $10 each. The preorder will run until April 13th at 8pm MST. The polishes should be shipped within 7-10 business days after the preorder closes, not including shipping time. 50% of the proceeds of this duo will be donated to PorchLight Family Justice Center in Jefferson County, Colorado. Please visit https://www.porchlightfjc.org to learn more about the center or to donate directly.
So what do you think about these polishes? Let me know what you think in the comments below. Thanks so much for stopping by today, and I will talk to you soon.
