Hola my peeps. I was looking through all my backlogged manis and I asked myself: why haven’t you posted these Halo Hues???? Well, I don’t really have an answer except that I’ve been preoccupied with other stuff, and I kind of forgot about them. Blasphemy, right? These are just so incredibly gorgeous that I don’t even have the words to describe them properly. As with all my previous Color Club Halo Hues experience, the formula on these is top notch. They are smooth and apply like a dream even without a base coat. They dry quickly and have a crazy holo effect. What’s not to love?
Eternal Beauty…what a fitting name. As if I didn’t love purple enough, Color Club had to put out this gorgeous purple holo. All I have to say is that if you love purple, get this. If you love holos. Get this. If you don’t get it, then you’re probably nuts anyway so don’t worry about it.
And not to be outdone, here is Over The Moon. Seriously. Yes, you need this one too.
So, you can already tell that I love the Color Club Halo Hues, right? I mean, the wear on these is fantastic, the formula applies smoothly and evenly and the colors are gorgeous. I’m not trying to sell you on these–I think the pictures speak for themselves. What do you think about holo polishes? Are you tired of seeing them? Do you want more? Love ’em! I don’t have any CC holos yet though, I am so lame 🙁 Linear holo top coats are my favorite, I like being able to turn any polish into holo. Sometimes it looks like crap, but I’m learning what works and what doesn’t lol.

I got the purple one the first time you talked about it. The blue one I passed on because I already have like 3/4 blue ones. I got the silver one from 2012 as well. The purple and silver were the most outstanding to me. I like halo’s but the color selection is basically the same, so once you have a few up your sleeve unless it’s an outstanding color like this purple I can wait. Besides like the other commenter I have a halo top coat and some spectra flair so I’m pretty good to go. :O)
If you know me you will know how crazy this sounds (as a devotee of blue, green, and orange) but my favorite holos are the nudes. There is something about the unexpected rainbow that makes them somehow fun yet sophisticated!
You know how I feel about those Halo Hues! I was super excited this morning when I checked the weather forecast for the week and I saw sunny days for the next few days. I’ll finally be able to bust out the rest of my Halo Hues and enjoy them 😀
P.S. I saw the new CG holographics at Sally’s this past weekend and they look so lame. In the bottle they just look like metallics. Halo Hues totally kicks their ass.

I have two or three of those CG Hologlam polishes. I’ve had them for like over a month and haven’t even been tempted to wear them…yeah, that’s how exciting I think they are. lol Well, I’m going to give them a fair chance but it’s so hard when there are so many other pretty polishes just begging to be swatched! The weather here is horrid…it was in the upper 80’s earlier in the week and now it’s cold and sprinkling. What the heck?

I’m sick of the super light, almost frosty looking holos but these are approaching jade vibrancy so I like them. If I could find them anywhere, I would get the purple cuz that looks awesome. Love it.
