How do you feel about yellow nail polish? I think I have maybe 3 yellow nail polishes in total and I rarely use them. My mom always used to dress me in yellow when I was a kid because she said it was her favorite color on me. She used to dress me up so girlie: matching dress, shoes, purse, accessories. It was brutal and I pretty much rebelled at the age of 7 and started wearing whatever I wanted. Wearing this yellow color also reminded me of a childhood story.
When I was a little kid, before starting school, we used to live in a really crappy part of town. In fact, it was outright dangerous so my mom would keep my brother and I locked up in the house. That is like the worst torture for a kid so we felt like little caged animals. Whenever we would go out anywhere, my brother and I would run around like crazy completely relishing being out of the house. In fact, whenever we went shopping we would just disappear and we almost would have to go up to a store employee to page my mom because after a while we were lost. So my mom bought us a set of matching neon yellow/orange sweat pants suits. I swear it was radioactive bright like crazy velveeta cheese, and I hated wearing it. I don’t know if it was her way of making us easy to spot or what, but I still kid her about that.
I am not so sure that I like yellow polish on myself, so you let me know.
As far as yellow polish goes, Almost Famous was not terrible to work with. I did find that it got streaky and I created bald spots if I wasn’t careful. I usually try to stick with two coats, but I felt that I third coat would help to make the color more even. This is a very bright and sunny yellow for sure, and I can’t imagine wearing this any time except summer.
I don’t know why I did this design because I hate it. It reminds me of a NASCAR checkered flag. This is just barfalicious and I took it off immediately after taking these pictures.

I do not know how I feel about yellow either, but it does look awesome on YOU. I like the black, actually! I got Cult's yellow, but I have yet to wear it, I feel like it needs SOMETHING…it is the only yellow I own.

I like this color on you. Yellow is probably the least flattering color on me. I have a few yellows, but Cult Nails Feel Me Up is my favorite. Still not sure it's the greatest color for me, though. This design reminds me of crash test dummies, lol!

LOL Seeing your manicure make me think of that one rap song: "Black-and-yellow, black-and-yellow, I don't know any other words besides black-and-yellow" (I improvised a little, lol). I own a couple yellows but my experiences with them are bad…. This is a good yellow for your skin tone though. I hear all yellows are a pain to apply, so I guess that's to be expected…

My favorite yellow is by Finger Paints: Art Nouv-Yellow. The formula is so nice…totally not a pain. This one was kind of annoying but I was expecting it so no big deal.

Just kidding!!! I actually don't hate them. I love black and yellow together (the stark contrast does it for me) but these checkers probably aren't my favorite. They look more biohazard to me though then racing flag. I still like them just fine tho. I like yellow on you!!! And I really like this color. If I knew where to find color clubs on a consistent basis I would go looking for this one.

LOL…I was going to tell you that barfing about my nails isn't very nice. I actually started to like this yellow but I just can't imagine when it would actually look good. It's just one of those pretty and bright colors that are hard to wear. I haven't seen anything interesting from Color Club in a long time which kinda sucks because I like the formula.
That stupid jumpsuit gives me nightmares.
Luckily for me I think everything looks good so I'd wear this polish all the time! haha
The beginning of my comment made me think of something kinda relevant- my friend posted this picture on instagram where she was like laying down (she's a shameless self-portrait lover *eye roll*) and it's all washed out and you can like barely make out her nose… anyway, I commented and said "This is creeping me out" (cuz she looks like a damn corpese, okay? let's me honest…) and like 5 people after me were trying to diss me a little and be like "omg you're soooo pretty" and all this I was like good lord people, get a sense of humor!!! Plus, this fried of mine would be the first to say a legit picture was ugly so i mean, come on… I wasn't being that bad. This just reminded me of that because when I typed that about barfing, I was of course kidding, but I was wondering if like 15 people were gonna comment about how mean I was and how your nails didn't make them barf… etc etc. Glad no one took me too seriously! 😉
