Excuse me, weekend…where did you go? I have to admit that the last few weeks have gone by in a blur because I am ridiculously busy at work. I love being busy, but it has also been a bit overwhelming. The good thing is that I have great colleagues to collaborate with so I know eventually things will fall into place. This week is also my birthday week! I’m turning 41 on the 22nd and it feels a little weird. I almost feel like 41 feels more real than 40–does that even make sense? I had to make an effort to swatch this weekend because I had so much to do and I hope that I can catch up this following weekend. Today I am sharing with you an awesome polish and scrub from one of my favorite brands (probably, really, my favorite brand but you know how we try not to play favorites with our polish babies!). KBShimmer Moumantai is a stunning shade that I know you will love. I also have a new sugar scrub scent to talk about so let’s get the show on the road. JReine Piercing Peridot
I am back today with another polish full of OGUP for your viewing pleasure. I kept debating sharing my swatches of these polishes because they are no longer available for sale, but if you’re part of the indie polish community, you know that destashing is a huge part of our community so I think that you have a good chance of finding these on the secondary market if you REALLY want them. You might not like the price, but someone is bound to want to let them go if the price is right. JReine Piercing Peridot is part of the Jelly Jewels Collection and it is another sheer jelly full of unicorn pee. Let’s take a look at my swatches below. Continue reading “JReine Piercing Peridot”
JReine Turned Up Tanzanite
Another brand that has seriously been wowing me for a while now is JReine. In my book, Jill is the queen of Unicorn Pee polishes so I am constantly buying UP polishes that she puts out. Of course I can’t get every single polish, but I do my best to pick up those that are the most interesting to me. I have an extremely difficult time passing up blue-based UP polishes so of course I had to pick up JReine Turned Up Tanzanite. Let’s take a look at my swatches below. After my first PPU purchase, I went to her website and bought another polish which is what I’m sharing with you today: Alchemy Lacquers Black Forest Truffle from the 2017 Chocolate Bar Collection. Prism Polish UK Bogus Adventure Collection
Hey! How’s the scorching heat treating you? I have just about had it with this ridiculous heat wave and hope that we get back down to some reasonable temperatures. I think that the thing I worry most about when we have this type of weather is not so much about how uncomfortable it is, but more about the potential for increased wild fires. It’s absolutely devastating to see people go through it every year and I hope that for the sake of the wild fire potential, we start to cool off some. Today I am going to share with you the Prism Polish UK Bogus Adventure Collection which took me back to how much I loved Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure as a kid. I also am planning to watch Bill & Ted Face The Music if only to feel like I have watched the trilogy. And for Keanu. ‘Cause who doesn’t love Keanu? Anyway, let’s take a look at my swatches below.
