JReine Turned Up Tanzanite

Another brand that has seriously been wowing me for a while now is JReine.  In my book, Jill is the queen of Unicorn Pee polishes so I am constantly buying UP polishes that she puts out. Of course I can’t get every single polish, but I do my best to pick up those that are the most interesting to me. I have an extremely difficult time passing up blue-based UP polishes so of course I had to pick up JReine Turned Up Tanzanite. Let’s take a look at my swatches below.

I know that a lot of people don’t like sheer polishes. I mean, I tend to be one of those people who don’t really like VNL, but these are 100% jelly polishes which means that you will not get fully opaque nails. I actually applied 4 coats for my swatches above and you can clearly see that the polish is not opaque. However, it has such a beautiful squishy finish that I don’t really care in this case. If you don’t want to use up the polish with multiple coats, you could pair it with either an opaque base coat or a shade that matches up with the base color. I paid $15 for this shade when it was released and sadly it is no longer available since it was available for only a limited time on a pre-order basis. You can always check out shopjreine.com to see what pretties are currently available and if the shop is open.

What do you think about JReine Turned Up Tanzanite? Is it something that you would buy and wear? Do you still love Unicorn Pee polishes? Thanks so much for stopping by today, and I will talk to you soon.
