This weekend I watched my nephews and they were sick so of course, now I’m sick. Ever since Vincent started school, I feel like he is always sick. Then Jonas gets sick…and then we all get sick. I have a pretty nasty cough going and my head is throbbing, so I’ll just have to rely on Theraflu to get through the next few days. Guess what? I’m moving! I am excited and a little scared about starting the apartment hunting process, but I think that it is all for the best. Hello and happy lazy Monday! Well, it’s lazy for me because I have a 4 day weekend, and I am enjoying it to the max by being lazy. I had planned so much stuff like Kondo-ing my nail polish stash, but that didn’t happen. I started watching a new series on Netflix and that made me lose a big chunk of my weekend. On Saturday I swatched about 25 polishes so now I have the task of editing the pictures which is my least favorite part about running this blog. JReine Saints & Sinners
What have you been watching on Netflix? The other day I was looking through new arrivals, and I saw a Spanish movie called The Tree Of Blood. What immediately caught my attention is that Nawja Nimri is in it, AND it’s directed by Julio Médem. One of my favorite movies of all time is Los Amantes del Círculo Polar (Lovers Of The Artic Circle) and they were both involved in that movie. JReine Original Lust – PPU October 2018
Since it’s barely the 6th of the month and I already purchased 6 polishes, I’m trying to get through my untrieds so I don’t feel extra crappy for being a failure at limiting my polish purchases. I think that if I keep my purchases to just these 6 polishes for the month I will feel ok, but I really need to get better about buying stuff. I feel like I’ve pretty much curbed my make up spending so now I need to focus on polish. I am definitely purchasing less, but I shouldn’t be buying ANY when I have so many untrieds. I know it’s just Tuesday, but I’m already feeling tired. I think that because the weather has been so gray lately, my mood is just mirroring it. I have a lot of stuff going on this week so I’m glad that I was able to get a bunch of swatching done over the weekend. I’ve been trying to motivate myself to add a bunch of stuff to my blog sale, but that hasn’t happened either. Zoya Innocence Collection
I sure love rain, but I don’t like some of the problems that come with these storms. It has been raining on and off since Saturday and we keep getting flood warnings. I am going to say what everyone says: Californians don’t know how to drive in the rain. It is pretty ridiculous but I guess this is what happens when you have gorgeous weather 90% of the year.
