Since it’s barely the 6th of the month and I already purchased 6 polishes, I’m trying to get through my untrieds so I don’t feel extra crappy for being a failure at limiting my polish purchases. I think that if I keep my purchases to just these 6 polishes for the month I will feel ok, but I really need to get better about buying stuff. I feel like I’ve pretty much curbed my make up spending so now I need to focus on polish. I am definitely purchasing less, but I shouldn’t be buying ANY when I have so many untrieds. Well, today I pulled out one of those untrieds! JReine Original Lust was a purchase from back in October 2018. Let’s take a look at my swatches below.
This polish deserves a million pictures. This was actually my very first JReine purchase, and I’ve obviously purchased many more bottles ever since. Original Lust is a deep blurple base with copper, green, red shimmer loaded with aurora shimmer. While the formula seems a bit sheer at first, it built up nicely with two coats. I purchased my bottle for $12.50 directly from PPU which means that…it’s no longer available. I know, I know…I’m sorry. I have been trying to get through my untrieds so I’m showing a lot of LE edition stuff. If you really want it, you may be able to find it in destashes.
If you’ve never heard about Polish Pickup, let me give you some information:
Polish Pickup is a monthly shop that allows you to purchase from a variety of makers for a flat $3 shipping rate. The theme/inspiration is chosen a month in advance and makers will give previews of their creations in the Polish Pickup Pack Facebook group, so don’t forget to join. The shop is open every first Friday-Monday of the month and then the site is closed while orders are filled/shipped. Be aware that shipping can take about 3 weeks so be patient.
