I know that I talk a lot about the weather because it directly affects my mood, but this time I’m talking about the weather since it’s the theme for June’s Polish/Indie Pickup! I’ve pretty much caught up on my swatching obligations so I’m enjoying just wearing pretty polish for more than a day or two. I actually rounded off my nails so I’ll be sporting that shape for a while. As much as I like my squoval nails, I feel that they are more prone to breaking which will not work well for me during the move. Prism Polish UK Winter Is Here Collection
OK, so by the time you read this, the finale of Game of Thrones already aired. I have a confession to make: I’ve never watched a single episode of this show. I have, however, devoured the books way before the show started. Actually, I have not read the last book, A Dance With Dragons, because I was so annoyed that it took over 5 years to get the next book in the series. I know, it seems kinda lame on my part but I will wait for the next book so I can read them back to back. To be honest, I don’t know how involved George R.R. Martin is with the show, but I wish he had stuck with finishing A Song of Fire and Ice before doing anything else. Hey! Thanks for joining me on this bright Tuesday morning…if you’re reading this the morning that I posted it, that is. I’ve been having a really interesting time lately using the Marie Kondo method to get rid of clutter in my apartment and also in my personal relationships. Sometimes you have to cut ties with people who don’t contribute any kind of positivity in your life and just serve to bring stress. Zoya Barefoot Collection – Summer 2019
Who would believe that it’s almost Summer time around here? Usually by May, I start complaining about the freaking heat but it’s been super mild around here. Hello and happy Wednesday dear nail polish aficionados! Over the weekend I swatched about 40 bottles of polish and I just felt that my nails and hands felt raw so I ended up filing my nails down to nubs and it feels great. Happy first Monday of May! What’s going on with you lately? I’ve still been working on getting all my ish together so that I can hopefully be out of my place by the end of the month. Blog Sale Update – 15% Off
Hello fellow polish friends.
Now that my blog is back up, I am really going to focus on selling as much of my stash as possible in the coming weeks. I haven’t given you all many details about what’s going on with me, but it is likely that I will be “displaced” for a few months starting in June. I have to line up some temporary housing while my place gets some extensive work done. This means I will only be able to take essentials with me and will have to put the rest in storage for a while. Faced with this prospect, I decided to downsize in basically every area of my life. These last few months, I have been able to sell 2 full melmers worth of polish which is amazing. Can you believe it’s May already? The weather is slowly starting to warm up, but it’s been weird around here when it’s hot one day and raining the next. On Monday I had some time to go watch Avengers Endgame, and I am definitely not happy with how everything turned out. I’m Baaaaaaaaack!
Hey guys! Just a quick note to let you all know that my blog situation has been fixed. I am back to normal thanks to the help of Tiffany and her husband who worked magic despite the fact that I was so disorganized and chaotic. I have missed blogging so much and I have a bunch of stuff lined up to share with you so stay tuned for that. I’ll be posting regularly starting tomorrow.
I want to also thank all the lovely people who reached out to me via email and on Instragram to give me advice or even just some kind words of encouragement. Normally I wouldn’t be so stressed out when something like this happens, but I have tons of turmoil going on in my personal life so this was just added stress.
This blog has been around for close to 8 years and I hope to continue for many more.
