Hey, so California is stupid. Why is it so hot here in January? I want to throw the whole state away in the garbage. If you didn’t already know this about me, I hate the heat. Like really hate it. I struggle through summer every year, so excuse me if I get outrageously upset when it gets close to 90 degrees in freaking January. I’m glad I got that out of my system so I can move on to the polish on hand: Tonic Love Yourself First. It’s such a simple name for such a glorious polish, but isn’t that one of the hardest things for many of us to do? Let me show you some swatches before I get all crazy in my head.

Again, the formula on this polish was very nice: opaque at two coats and very easy to control. I feel like I sound like a broken record, but I just have not had any issues with Tonic. This polish was part of the Secrets & Soulmates Collection which was really beautiful. I have one major regret when this collection came out: I did not get Lemons & Cream. I am seriously dying for that polish now. There is a chance that it may come back since there was a bit of a survey to see who would be interested in it in the Tonic Polish Facebook Group. I paid $12 for my bottle of Love Yourself first so the price is not bad. What do you think about this polish? Did you get this or any other polish from the collection? I love this one, its so unique! I hate winter and feel like I really have to drag myself throug every year… so for me spring and summer are a welcome relief.
