Hey there and happy Monday. If you’re in the USA and your job observes federal holidays, I hope you’re enjoying a day off on this Martin Luther King Jr. Day. I’m planning to catch up on a bunch of cleaning, swatching and some blog sale stuff. This weekend was kind of slow in the sense that I didn’t do much besides watch a bunch of Netflix shows and movies. Today I have a fun polish to share with you that is part of the Road to Polish Con polishes for the upcoming event in New Orleans. KBShimmer Beignet Done That is a shifty masterpiece that you won’t want to miss out on. Let’s check out my swatches below.
Maybe I went a little overboard on the pictures, but this polish is soooo pretty. I found it incredibly difficult to capture it in all its shifty glory. It’s a purple to green multichrome with a thick sprinkling of gold flakes that lay rather flatly on the nail so you don’t have to worry about lumpiness. The formula was a little on the thick side, but it was not problematic. It is very richly pigmented and I found that it’s almost a one coater–but definitely apply two for the richness of color and for the beautiful flakes.
If you’re interested in purchasing this polish, it is part of the first group of Road to Polish Con releases and will be available from 1/18/19 – 2/3/2019 for pre-sale at thepolishconvention.com This polish will retail for $10. The polishes are due to ship on 2/15/19 and if there is an overpour, they will be brought to Polish Con for sale. Don’t miss out on this! So what do you think about this polish? Are you planning to pick it up? Will you be at Polish Con NOLA? Thanks so much for stopping by today, and I will talk to you soon.
