Woo hooo! PPU is coming up this Friday so here I am starting off the week showing you some pretties that you will be able to pick up once the shop opens up. The inspiration this month is Halloween, so you know that people are going to pull out all the stops and blow us away. If you’ve already seen all the posts about what will be offered, you know that our wallets are in for a shock. Today I am sharing with you Music City Beauty You Don’t Know Jack! which is a holographic polish with a dark smoky black base which a scattering of flakes. Let’s take a look at my swatches below.

Can you believe August is right around the corner? I’m actually in complete disbelief because it has not felt like Summer at all in Southern California. In fact, the weather has been rather mild and I haven’t even had to use my AC yet…what in the world?? I know 2020 has kind of been garbage all-around, but I sure hope that things start to turn around for all of us. After July’s rewind theme, August is bringing us Weird Science! KBShimmer I Need Space – PPU & IPU January 2020

Well, it seems like a hot minute since I posted but it hasn’t been that long. I think that all the rush of the Christmas holiday just caught up to me and stuff just fell by the wayside. It also did not help that my nails kept breaking and I had to just buckle down and swatch with shorties. Since my move, I am still working on trying to get my perfect set up for swatching and taking pics so please cut me some slack. Since this Friday is the first Friday of the month, Polish Pick Up will be wowing us with tons of pretties. This weekend I watched my nephews and they were sick so of course, now I’m sick. Ever since Vincent started school, I feel like he is always sick. Then Jonas gets sick…and then we all get sick. I have a pretty nasty cough going and my head is throbbing, so I’ll just have to rely on Theraflu to get through the next few days. I can’t believe that this is the last week of February because I have some work deadlines coming up for month end. The good thing about month end is that we have yet another Polish Pick Up coming up. JReine Original Lust – PPU October 2018

Since it’s barely the 6th of the month and I already purchased 6 polishes, I’m trying to get through my untrieds so I don’t feel extra crappy for being a failure at limiting my polish purchases. I think that if I keep my purchases to just these 6 polishes for the month I will feel ok, but I really need to get better about buying stuff. I feel like I’ve pretty much curbed my make up spending so now I need to focus on polish. I am definitely purchasing less, but I shouldn’t be buying ANY when I have so many untrieds. After KBShimmer’s pot inspired polish, a brownie inspired polish seems to hit all the right notes. Colors by Llarowe Fake Tan Man

Colors by Llarowe Fake Tan Man is probably the polish that I have wanted the most from any Polish Pick Up month, and I initially managed to miss it because I forgot to set my alarm. I was super bummed because it sold out so quickly, but I bought a few other pretties to console myself. Late that day, it was announced that the cap would be raised and I managed to snag a bottle, and I was soooo happy! Let me show you how pretty this polish looks over a deep red base.
