Can you believe August is right around the corner? I’m actually in complete disbelief because it has not felt like Summer at all in Southern California. In fact, the weather has been rather mild and I haven’t even had to use my AC yet…what in the world?? I know 2020 has kind of been garbage all-around, but I sure hope that things start to turn around for all of us. After July’s rewind theme, August is bringing us Weird Science! If you’re old enough, you know you heard that song in your head. Today I’m going to be sharing KBShimmer He Slimed Me and the corresponding sugar scrub. Let me show you some swatches below.
I then used KBShimmer Oh Matte! because I love how polishes like this look with a matte finish.
And for your skin softening and sniffing pleasure, the corresponding hand scrub comes in a Citrus Cooler Scent.
The entire time I have been using this scrub, I have called it Cactus Cooler because it was one of my favorite sodas as a kid. Anyone remember drinking that? I can still find it in stores, but I think it tastes too much like straight up candy for me to enjoy it. This scrub has a lot of citrus notes which is why I like it so much.

Polish Pickup is a monthly shop that allows you to purchase from a variety of makers for a flat $3 shipping rate. The theme/inspiration is chosen a month in advance and makers will give previews of their creations in the Polish Pickup Pack Facebook group, so don’t forget to join. The shop is open every first Friday-Monday of the month and then the site is closed while orders are filled/shipped. Be aware that shipping can take about 3 weeks so be patient.
