Hi everyone. I hope you’re enjoying your Saturday. Unfortunately I’m still sidelined by my cold and horrible cough so I’m just going to lay low this entire weekend. I know it’s superbowl weekend, but since I don’t give a rat’s ass about football, I’m going to ignore all the sports parties and all that. I am happy that I got a few stamping manicures done in advance because I might not have been up to doing a new one for today considering how crappy I’ve been feeling. For today’s stamping mani, I used my manicure from yesterday’s post as the base for my stamping. Let’s take a look at it.

Nubar 2010 over Morgan Taylor Lost In Paradise
I used my Konad Black Special polish and an image from Mash plate 39 over my sparkly base. I really like how this turned out because the black stamping shows a great contrast on the lighter base.
Sorry I’m not my usual talkative self. I’m currently watching a Rocky marathon with my mom. We just finished Rocky III and now we’re watching Rocky IV–which is my favorite movie in the series. Don’t judge me for my questionable taste in movies, ok? I hope the link thing works below so you can check out some other awesome stamped manis. Thanks so much for stopping by today, and I will talk to you soon.
I have been obsessed with your Stamping Saturday posts. This one is so stunning. Hope you feel better soon, because I can’t wait to see your OPI Brazil swatches, hahaha!. Also I love every Rocky movie since I was a kid, I blame it on my parents addiction to them lol.

Thank you so much! I actually swatched the whole collection yesterday and OMG…it’s amazing. I hope to finish editing and writing it up for Monday. I guess not even sickness can keep us away from polish. I like watching these movies mostly because I like watching my mom’s reactions to the boxing scenes. She’s literally ducking and punching the air as if she was fighting. I must get this on video because it’s hilarious. I tend to like sports movies in general so I love this whole series.
UGH! This is so pretty and mermaid-y it isn’t fair. Someday I will steal your title “Queen of Stamping” but it isn’t today.

I love these posts – I have yet to try stamping so I really enjoy seeing the different options.

Thank you! <3
I also love the mermaid effect! How do you keep the stamps off of the skin? I’ve never gotten into stamping because I’m sure I will make a mess. lol

There are a couple of ways that I have tried: 1) I tape my skin off. 2) I put vaseline/lotion on the skin around my nail so that clean up is easier.
I find both techniques a little time consuming, so lately I have just let the polish get on my skin. Clean up can be really annoying with a darker polish, however, I started using these quick dry drops from Essence and they dry the polish on my skin and it becomes super easy to rub off without making a mess. I should do a post about that! ๐
Oh my! I LOVE this! It reminds me of scales and its so so gorgeous!
I’m glad you like it. I am totally proud of how it turned out. ๐
This is gorgeous!!!

It’s all about the Seche Vite. I don’t think I have anything else that is as shiny. ๐
I love that you did the glitter then the stamp really added to it although I love it either way, also love this teal! I did a glitter Gradient one with a stamp for this week. love how we are doing this it’s so fun!

YES. Yes and yes. This is awesome. I agree with Amy…it’s mermaid-y, shimmery goodness. The stamping looks perfect.
I can somehow just picture your mom watching those movies. Video, please! ๐
Haha! She would be so mad. She gets mad at me when I take all those videos of her talking to the baby and put them on FB.
