I feel like it’s been forever since I did one of these Vintage Polish Friday posts. In case you don’t even remember this series, you can check out my previous posts here. The basic premise is that I revisit vintage polishes and re-swatch them. It’s a nice trip down memory lane AND it gives me the opportunity to use polishes that normally don’t get much use. The downside is that if you really fall in love with a polish, it most likely is not readily available. For the sake of my posts, I consider polishes 10+ years as vintage so today’s polish barely squirmed through. OPI What’s With The Cattitude is the polish I have for you today so let’s take a look at my swatches below.
That last shot makes my nail look sooooo long, but I can tell you that it’s mostly that I have super long nail beds. My nails are definitely longer now than I usually like to keep them, but I feel like my swatches just look better at this length. So, regarding this polish…it has king of an atrocious formula. I found it profoundly difficult to work with. It was patchy, streaky and uneven–but it’s so pretty. I actually did not snag this polish when the collection came out in 2010 but it’s been a lemming for many years. I actually just picked it up in a destash a few weeks ago so I’m glad that I finally got it even if the formula was a big let-down.
Do you remember the OPI Shrek Forever After Collection?
It’s was an interesting collection and I wish I had all the polishes just from a collection standpoint. I don’t know if I will actively pursue collecting the rest of these polishes, but I’m glad that I at least got the one I wanted the most. So what do you think about this polish? Do you have it or any of the other shades in your stash? Thanks so much for stopping by today, and I will talk to you soon.

This is a cute one and I am sure I got a few from that set. 😀
I purchased this last year on ebay. It was a long time lemming. I still haven’t worn it. I hate that the formula is so poor, bc the color is gorgeous!!! 💙💙💙💙
That is the polish I wanted from that collection and never could find (at a price I was willing to pay). I have OPI’s I Believe in Manicures from the Breakfast at Tiffany’s collection which is supposedly a dupe. If you have it could you test it out? That blue is so pretty on you. I have Fiercely Fiona, Funky Dunkey, Rumple’s Wiggin’, and Who the Shrek are You? I don’t know what a Rumple is or wiggin either, but the name of that one is just funny.
I have the two purples from this collection and I believe the Fiona green. I do love them and I love this color on you! I’ve been wearing older polishes lately and it really feels good to give them some love!
My favourite colour and such a beautiful shade of blue
What a throwback! This was my first OPI nail polish and the one that started my addiction. I wore it so much I used up the bottle 🙁 Thanks for sharing, brought back so many memories!
I can’t believe it still looks that good after all this time. The Shrek collection definitely was an interesting collection. I remember I kept finding the green polish in the discount section of my local drugstore! I think the world was just not ready for green yet.
