I just got a call from Dr. H. He said that my emotional support dog letter will be ready for pick-up on Wednesday. I nearly shit myself…no joke.

I know…I'm dying. Hurry up Wednesday! I know it will still be a few months before I can afford to buy a dog, but I'm getting over the hurdles! Now I will know that I CAN get a dog when I'm ready.

um, why am i the only one who's confused? haha i went back and read older posts and still don't know wth you're talking about! but congrats, i guess? ♥
LOL…ok, well I did have to make some posts private because I was afraid someone in my family would figure out this was my blog. Since most people don't know what happened in my life the last year (including my parents), I didn't want someone to spill the beans. So I have been trying to get a dog as an emotional support pet. When I was hospitalized, we had dog therapy and I loved it. Unfortunately, my landlord does not allow pets so the only way I could get one is if my psychiatrist does some paperwork for me saying that he recommends an emotional support pet. I had talked to him about it and he wouldn't do it until I started going to see him regularly and took my meds as prescribed. Soooo….6 months later, he finally agreed to do the paperwork. Yipeeee! 🙂
