Hey, hey, hey! Can you believe September is here? It’s also my birthday this month so I’m getting ready to TREAT MYSELF TO ALL THE THINGS. I already treated myself to two new pairs of glasses and I am thinking about buying an All-Clad cookware set because I’m old AF now and stuff like this makes me happy. Just look at the reactions and comments on my post about a mop. A motherfreaking mop. Anywho, today I am going to share with you my swatches of KBShimmer Witch Please which, along with a new sugar scrub, will be available this Friday for Polish Pick Up. Let’s take a look at my swatches below.
Look, I may be partial to purple polish but I love this. The delicate purple shade with all those flakes is just a winning combination. I applied two coats of polish for my swatches above and now I think I should have applied a third because I can see some nail line. I’m not mad about it, though.
You all must know that I love KBShimmer sugar scrubs (I use them 2-3 times a week on my legs) and this one is no exception. I did want to call your attention to that sweet foil seal. I have read that during the Summer months, there is a potential of these leaking. I have never had one leak on me but I can definitely see that happening in transit. You can now rest assured that you should never get a leaky package again (TWSS?). If you are interested in purchasing these products, they will be available Friday 9/3/2021 through Monday 9/6/2021. The polish will retail for $11 (with a cap of 750 bottles) and the scrub will retail for $10.
If you don’t know much about PPU, let me give you some details: Polish Pickup is a monthly shop that allows you to purchase from a variety of makers for an economical shipping rate. After years of them having a flat rate $3 shipping, the rates have increased:
- packages weighing 0.0oz – 7.0oz will still be $3 (about 3 polishes)
- packages weighing 7.1oz + will now ship for $5.
The theme/inspiration is chosen a month in advance and makers will give previews of their creations in the Polish Pickup Pack Facebook group, so don’t forget to join. The shop is open every first Friday-Monday of the month and then the site is closed while orders are filled/shipped. Be aware that shipping can take about 3 weeks so be patient.
