This week has been a little busy for me so it’s been hard to actually sit down and do some proper swatching after my almost month-long break. I know that it wasn’t really a decision to take that time off since I found myself so sick, but I think it did me a lot of good because now I’m itching to do some swatching and nail art. Since April PPU is right around the corner, this week I’m showing you a few shades that will be available soon. The polish I’m sharing with you today is KBShimmer Wave After Wave so let’s take a look at my swatches below.
KBShimmer does magnetics so well and this is no exception. Wave After Wave is a beautiful lavender gray polish with coppery red to gold magnetic shimmer. It also has some gold and micro holo flakes to give it that extra sparkle. The formula was really nice: it applied easily and I got full coverage with two coats.
If you’re wondering which famous work of art inspired this polish, let me show you The Ninth Wave by Ivan Aivazovsky. Isn’t it beautiful?
If you’ve never heard about Polish Pickup, let me give you some information:
Polish Pickup is a monthly shop that allows you to purchase from a variety of makers for a flat $3 shipping rate. The theme/inspiration is chosen a month in advance and makers will give previews of their creations in the Polish Pickup Pack Facebook group, so don’t forget to join. The shop is open every first Friday-Monday of the month and then the site is closed while orders are filled/shipped. Be aware that shipping can take about 3 weeks so be patient.
So what do you think about this polish? Will it be going on your list? Thanks so much for stopping by today, and I will talk to you soon.

I love this color unmagnetized and the magnet just makes it that much more epic!
The name Wave after wave sounds so relaxing! And a stunner for sure ♡
Oh wow How can people make a polish resembling the painting ! It really is a beauty 🙂
