Hello everyone. I hope that you are all doing well and that you are weathering the storm out there. I am trying to remain hopeful that we will get through this soon, but I feel like we have to all do our part and STAY HOME as much as possible. I try to only go out once a week–if that. I know it’s difficult to stay home–especially because I live in California where the weather is always nice–but I have to do my best to not get sick or help spread the virus. Anyway, I know that you’re probably tired of hearing about the Corona Virus so I will get off my soapbox. Since you are here, I know we share a hobby in common–nails! Today I am going to share my swatches of the KBShimmer Beach Break Collection with you so let’s take a look at my pictures below.
Knot Today
Water Relief
Lovers Coral
Isle Drink To That
Where My Beaches At?
Sun Kissed
Turtley Awesome
The Tide Is Right
Mermaid In The Shade
Did I go a little overboard with the pictures? Maybe, but there are some amazing shades in this collection. I added extra pictures in indirect light for the extra shifty shades to show you all the different facets of the polishes. There are so many different shades and finishes in this collection that I know you will find something that you will like. I have always thought of KBShimmer as the brand that kills it when it comes to crelly polishes and Knot Today did not let me down; it’s so creamy and easy to apply and just looks amazing. I think that my favorite shade from this collection is Sun Kissed. I have such a love for yellow and yellow polish just makes me happy. When I swatched this color, I remembered how my mom bought my brother and I matching yellow sweat suits and would make us wear them so she could easily spot us in crowds. No joke. I adore the super shifty shades like Mermaid In The Shade and The Tide is right–they are so complex and surprise you depending on the angle and lighting. All of the polishes were two coaters with the exception of Where My Beaches At? since it was so light in the warmest state. I also wanted to tell you that when you purchase the sparkly green shade, Turtley Awesome, $2.00 from each bottle will be donated to The Sea Turtle Conservatory.
I also have some exciting news regarding my favorite sugar scrub scent ever which is making a reappearance for a limited time. If you did not pick up the Lime Margarita scrub, you are in luck because it is available again. It was initially released as part of Indie Pickup for September 2019 so now you have a change to try it or buy a back up. I am not kidding when I say that this is my absolute favorite scent–it’s juicy and intoxicating. Whenever I use it, my whole bathroom smells delicious for hours.
I also wanted to share a note from KBShimmer regarding the current situation and how it is affecting their business:
The KBShimmer Beach Break Collection will be available starting Friday 3/27/2020 on kbshimmer.com. So what do you think of this collection? Will you be picking up any of the shades? Thanks so much for stopping by today, and I will talk to you soon.
Be my polish friend! Follow me!
I really need Where My Beach At! I NEVER buy thermals bc I never love both colors… but not today! I am picking that up and Knot Today. And I have a vision of 2 kids wearing bright yellow sweat suits now! 🤣🤣🤣
This is such a nice colletion <3
Oh, my gosh. Your swatches look amazing! Makes me extra happy I picked up the entire collection (and the sugar scrub). I am all about the positive reinforcement. LOL! Many thanks for sharing your thoughts and swatches for each of these beauties. 🙂
