How’s it going today? I hope you’re nice and caffeinated by now just like me. I don’t understand how some people function without a nice cup of joe, but I will drink coffee until the day I die. I come from a long line of coffee addicts, so this should be no surprise. Today I have some multichrome goodies to share with you from a brand I really like. The Dare To Wear Metallux Collection is made up of 6 multichrome polishes, and I picked up two at my local beauty supply. While this collection came out last year, I didn’t really pay much attention to it until I saw the polishes in person. Let me show you some swatches of the pretties I did pick up.
Dare To Wear Hypnotic
Dare To Wear Mystique
Hypnotic is well…hypnotic. This was by far my favorite of the 6 polishes I saw and my obvious favorite from the two I purchased. The formula is very sheer so you will need multiple coats to build it up. I applied 3 coats for my swatches above. For multichrome polishes such as these, you can also layer them over black to avoid applying multiple coats. While I was able to capture the shift in Hypnotic, Mystique was impossible to photograph. In person, the shift is somewhat subdued so it’s no surprise that it was impossible to capture in my pictures. Still, it is a nice blue polish with a metallic and chrome-like finish. If you’re interested in picking these up, they are still on the Le Chat Dare To Wear website where they retail for $11.95 each. At my local beauty supply, I was able to get them for $5 each. While we are used to seeing beautiful multichromes from indies, I was pleasantly surprised to see a mainstream salon brand do them so well. What do you think about these shades? Have you used any Dare To Wear polishes? Thank o much for stopping by today, and I will talk to you soon!

Boo. Luckily I have not had a coffee mug break on me…ever. Isn’t Hyponotic awesome?!
Beautiful swatches! You did an awesome job capturing the shifts! Also- I don’t drink coffee, lol. If I wake up early and need to snap myself out of sleep, I’ll crack a Dr. Pepper open.

Whhaaaaaat?! lol I guess you’ll get your caffeine from the Dr. Pepper but still… 🙂
I have this collection and just love it. I like everything from Le Chat Dare to Wear though! 🙂

Love Hypnotic and stunning swatches. I only drink tea, and far too much to lol x
Thanks, Tracey. I’m trying to get into drinking tea but I just can’t. I do like iced tea, but not hot tea and I thin that’s why I will always need my coffee.

I love Hypnotic! It’s got such a pretty shift!
Yeah, it does have a great shift. I wish Mystique did too.

I wish I had access to this brand in person. They have such amazing stuff! I have these and they are great.
It is a shame that it can be hard to get these in person, but they are worth the hunt!
My body actually can’t handle caffeine and I’m on of very few people who can’t stand the taste lol. Either way these polishes are beautiful!
