I received my first ever Cult Nails order this past Saturday so I was itching to try my new lovelies. I have so many brand new nail polishes that I can’t justify buying more. I went to my nail places today and I resisted the urge to pick up some polishes but I did purchase a bottle of Posché. I’ve always been faithful to Seche Vite, but I wanted to try something new to see how it compares to my trusty top coat.
This morning I was looking at Scrangie’s swatches of the OPI Spider Man collection and I find them so meh. Yawn, yawn, triple yawn. I am really not interested in getting any of the colors anymore. I was talking to my nail polish guy today about the new Essies and he had the Poppy-Razzi collection in the back so he showed me the colors. I don’t think I’ll be getting any of these either. They are colors I already have and they’re not that interesting once the excitement of something new wore off. He also told me they were ugly and that they are too similar to other colors I already have. What does it mean when the owner of the store talks you out of spending money at his store? He also had the New Love & Acceptance collection, but they’re just a pastel yawnfest.
Back to Cult Nails: First off I would like to say I was super impressed how quickly I got my order despite ordering during a huge sale. I swatched the three polishes I purchased and have no complaints. The formula was creamy, smooth and applied like a dream. Sorry about my greasy looking fingers! My hands have been crazy dry so I’m always moisturizing lately.

I will be buying more Cult Nails polishes in the future for sure. I know that they will be having another $5 sale in the coming weeks so I will be sure to check them out. What do you think about Cult Nails? Are you a fan?

What colors did you get? I just went on their site because I wanted to get more but there really weren't any colors that I wanted really badly. I'll just wait until the next sale. lol I'm too lazy to go check and see what colors will be included in the next sale.

I used Posché for the first time on these swatches. So far I'm liking it but I just gave myself a pedi with Kiss Me On My Tulips and it bled! There's pink in my bottle of Posché…that never happens with Seche Vite. 🙁
So glad you finally got some Cult Nails! I ordered my kinda cool aid too, but I also got quench and paid full price for Seduction (it was worth it). I can't wait for her daughter's collection to come out now 🙂

These look great. I have the Super Powers collection but that's all. I would have liked to get in on this $5 sale but I was broke and knew I'd wanna buy like 6 of them. haha. There's this one orange that they just re-realeased that I really want.. so maybe if they do the sale again I'll grab it. I'm with Frosso tho.. I want her daughter's collection. 🙂
Well, the next $5 sale will only offer a handful of colors…basically, the ones that they were low on stock for the first sale. I don't remember what colors they are but I know My Kind Of Cool Aid is one of them. I wasn't smart enough to figure out that I should have bought a different color so I could buy it this time around. It kind sucked that they limited the sale to 3 polishes total. Initially they said 2 so I guess I shouldn't be greedy!

Ahhhh I didn't realize that it was only a few colors. I just kept hearing about it but knew I couldn't really afford it. Although, if I'd checked and knew it was only a few colors…. haha. I'll probably still check it out even thought it's only a few colors. 🙂

Oh no! I was so excited about the Essie Poppy-Razzi Collection. Are you sure they're ugly or dupe-able? Haha, being obsessed with neons, I just don't want to believe it. I was looking forward to getting the whole collection. (Still probably will just because neons always make me smile.)
You know, the more I think about it, I'm probably going to get them because Essie neons are pretty rare, no? They definitely reminded me of some China Glaze neons, but you can never trust the color just by looking at the bottle. My nail guy was so blah about the collection that maybe it rubbed off on me a little…or he was just trying to make me not want them since he couldn't sell them to me yet and he hates my whining. lol
