With May just around the corner, next month’s releases are starting to pop up. I have a lot of things in the works as far as posts go, so I hope that I don’t enable you too much. But really, isn’t that the whole purpose of nail blogs–to enable the masses? Actually, I look at it as an opportunity to save people money because if something sucks, I will definitely let you know. Unfortunately (or fortunately), today I have a gorgeous polish that you will not want to miss. Colors by Llarowe Irish Eyes Are Smiling is the May 2018 POTM or Polish Of The Month. The monthly polishes have a limited run so you will not want to sleep on them if you want them. Let me show you some swatches below.

Isn’t this a beauty or what? Here is the official description of this polish:

Irish Eyes Are Smiling has an emerald green base with shifts of blue, purple and gold. Aurora pigment gives a light green to purple sparkle and added prismatic holo flakes are added for dimension.

This is an extremely shifty polish, and I found it almost impossible to capture it in all its glory. When I first saw the bottle, it was a delight to see how it shifted and glowed. The formula on this polish is really nice: it was easy to control and was opaque with two coats. I wish that you could see exactly what I see when I move my nails around in different directions and lighting. The base reminds me a lot of Emerald Illusion which I purchased during the last pre-order and can’t wait to get.
