For someone who is always saying that holidays suck, I seem to be strangely festive this year. I got my Christmas tree yesterday, and I’ve been wanting to always polish my nails with Christmas colors. Today is not an exception since I decided to wear my favorite green glitter: Color Club Holiday Splendor. Holiday Splendor is the stand out gem from Color Club’s Beyond The Mistletoe Holiday Collection 2011 which was just a complete holo glitterbomb win. Do you want to see what my mani looked like? Well, here we go…
Read below to see what I used for this manicure.
I don’t know about you, but I think this polish is magical. Because of the tinted base, you only need two coats for full opacity. It does dry a little gritty so a nice top coat is a must if you want a smooth finish.
This is just a bonus unfocused and blurry picture that really shows off the amazing holo in this polish. Seriously, how can you not love this??
Since I’ve been on a stamping kick lately, I used Cheeky plate CH 52 and Konad’s special white polish for this design. It almost pained me to cover up Holiday Splendor, but I really love the holo goodness peeking out randomly.
So what do you think about Color Club Holiday Splendor? Did you get any polishes from this collection? Thanks for stopping by and talk to you tomorrow!
God damnit more to my wish list! Lollol this is gorgeous!! Love this stamo over it! So jealous you have your tree already, trying to get the hubs to get ours, he wants to do next weekend 🙁

I love it. Yes, why don’t you have this!?!?! 🙂
That is SO AWESOME! I don’t think I’d have covered it up. Maybe on the second day. I do like the stamping though, I just think the polish is so pretty it would have been too hard to cover it up. 🙂 Very nice, very nice. Now on to pattern nails tomorrow. 🙂

It is hard to cover up such a lovely polish…it’s just so glittery and amazing.
I love this!
The stamp works really well with the colour!

Thank you! I just always like green with white so I had to do this.
The cc holiday splendor is probably one of my favorite collections! So gorgeous, I’ve still been trying to track this one down, absolutely beautiful mani as always Cynthia!
Thanks! And yes…it’s one of those special holiday collections.
LOVE this polish. Just another to add to my wishlist 🙁
I love enabling…what can I say? 😉
The glitter is gorgeous!
I love the green and it reminds me of delicate tinsel. It’s gorgeous
But I also LOVE the stamping you did, it brings the green out even more and makes it more beautiful!!!

Yes, this glitter is special…like really special. I think that my favorite part is how BRIGHT the green base is. It’s just gorgeous. Maybe next time I won’t cover up the base polish as much.
OH MAN…what a beauty! I definitely cannot not love this! I like it with and without the stamping, but I’m glad that you were able to show us the color without it so that we can get the full effect.
I don’t have any Color Clubs…I have a hard time finding that brand anywhere.
You just reminded me of the office episode when Michael is telling everyone not to bother his nephew, the intern, who is doing a horrible job. He’s always messing up with the double/triple negatives. Do Not Dont bother him. hahaha. Anyway, yes this polish is amazing. You should check out the beauty section at ross…they always have color clubs. Actually, that is where I got this one.
When he ends up spanking him, hahaha.
Really? I was just at Ross and they only had LA Girl. I’m going back this week and will take a closer look.
I did go back…it’s LA Colors, not LA Girl, and they did have some Color Club sets. Good to know!
Awesomeness! They don’t always have good sets. You know, I have been wondering about those LA Colors polishes because sometimes they have really great colors. I’m going to have to buy one the next time I see a set that I like just to try them out. They are cheap so it’s not a huge risk or anything.
This mani makes me think of Dr. Seuss and Whoville :)I really like Holiday Splendor. I feel so lost when I see collections from Holiday 2011…I was blogging, but I was still somewhat conservative with my spending. I didn’t explode until January 2012 😛 Shockingly enough I didn’t even buy my first china glaze until january 2012 because I had this idea in my head that I didn’t like the bottles. It too me even longer to get around to accepting color club. I was such a newb. *sigh*

This is great! I love the color, and what’s not to like about a holographic sparkle! I have been obsessed with glitter and holo nail polish lately. It’s getting serious, I really should see someone about it. But I digress…..
This one is absolutely going on my wish list!
Thanks for sharing! (*^_^*)
