As soon I saw the name of this collection, I giggled a little. Yes, I know that I’m not 13 years old, but it made me think of a bunch of NSFW Polish names like Illamasqua Load and Sinful Colors Beau Khaki. Considering that I love wearing bright and loud colors regularly, it may surprise you to hear that I also very much enjoy soft colors. I don’t wear them as often, but I absolutely enjoy a nice palate cleanser for my nails. On Thursday I stopped by one of my favorite nail supply stores and I was super excited to see that they had the OPI Always Bare For You Collection which will serve as the Soft Shades for 2019. Lemming Lacquer The Birth Of Venus – PPU April 2019
Are there works of art that move you? I feel so lucky that there are so many paintings, sculptures and novels that entrance me and make me believe in a higher power because surely the artist was God-touched to have created such a masterpiece. Hello friends! I am finally back after almost 3 weeks of being sick. I felt ridiculous being sick for this long, but I just could not seem to shake it off. I still have a minor cough and some annoying congestion, but I feel like I can finally say that I’m feeling much, much better. JReine Hold My Earrings
Day four of the great sickout and I’m still not improving. It’s not like you need a play by play of the progress of my cough and cold, but I need all the positive vibes I can get! I guess that I should probably make it over to the doctor, but I feel like I always end up wasting $15 (my copay) and they don’t recommend anything useful. This weekend I watched my nephews and they were sick so of course, now I’m sick. Ever since Vincent started school, I feel like he is always sick. Then Jonas gets sick…and then we all get sick. Guess what? I’m moving! I am excited and a little scared about starting the apartment hunting process, but I think that it is all for the best. Hello and happy lazy Monday! Well, it’s lazy for me because I have a 4 day weekend, and I am enjoying it to the max by being lazy. I had planned so much stuff like Kondo-ing my nail polish stash, but that didn’t happen. I started watching a new series on Netflix and that made me lose a big chunk of my weekend. On Saturday I swatched about 25 polishes so now I have the task of editing the pictures which is my least favorite part about running this blog. JReine Saints & Sinners
What have you been watching on Netflix? The other day I was looking through new arrivals, and I saw a Spanish movie called The Tree Of Blood. What immediately caught my attention is that Nawja Nimri is in it, AND it’s directed by Julio Médem. One of my favorite movies of all time is Los Amantes del Círculo Polar (Lovers Of The Artic Circle) and they were both involved in that movie.
