I know that I talk a lot about the weather because it directly affects my mood, but this time I’m talking about the weather since it’s the theme for June’s Polish/Indie Pickup! I’ve pretty much caught up on my swatching obligations so I’m enjoying just wearing pretty polish for more than a day or two. I actually rounded off my nails so I’ll be sporting that shape for a while. As much as I like my squoval nails, I feel that they are more prone to breaking which will not work well for me during the move. Can you believe it’s May already? The weather is slowly starting to warm up, but it’s been weird around here when it’s hot one day and raining the next. On Monday I had some time to go watch Avengers Endgame, and I am definitely not happy with how everything turned out. Lemming Lacquer The Birth Of Venus – PPU April 2019
Are there works of art that move you? I feel so lucky that there are so many paintings, sculptures and novels that entrance me and make me believe in a higher power because surely the artist was God-touched to have created such a masterpiece. One of my favorite paintings by Botticelli is The Birth of Venus and I can confirm that the first time I saw it in person, I stood there in awe for a good 30 minutes. Hello friends! I am finally back after almost 3 weeks of being sick. I felt ridiculous being sick for this long, but I just could not seem to shake it off. I still have a minor cough and some annoying congestion, but I feel like I can finally say that I’m feeling much, much better. JReine Original Lust – PPU October 2018
Since it’s barely the 6th of the month and I already purchased 6 polishes, I’m trying to get through my untrieds so I don’t feel extra crappy for being a failure at limiting my polish purchases. I think that if I keep my purchases to just these 6 polishes for the month I will feel ok, but I really need to get better about buying stuff. I feel like I’ve pretty much curbed my make up spending so now I need to focus on polish. I am definitely purchasing less, but I shouldn’t be buying ANY when I have so many untrieds.
