Hello polish friends! I am soooo happy that the weekend is almost here because I just need a freaking break. This week has felt endless to me, and I am looking forward to spending some time with the fam this weekend. It was my mom’s 70th birthday earlier in the week so I went over to her place for an impromptu dinner/cake. It’s my brother’s birthday this week as well so we’re going to be doing a combo birthday/Easter get-together. Fun times! Anywho, today I have some swatches of the Whats Up Nail Geodes Collection to share with you so let’s take a look at my swatches below.

Call me boring but I’m sitting over here loving Rhodonite. I am a big fan of matte nail polish, and I feel like this shade really suits me. It definitely helps that the formula is very easy to work with and doesn’t get super gloopy. I do feel that the standouts from this collection are the two polishes with the “Gem Encrusted” finish: Crystal and Earthlike. The formula on these polishes is rather sheer but they do build up nicely. I first went in with 2 thin coats and got pretty decent coverage. I did apply a third coat to just make sure I got the fully opaque coverage that I like. Can we talk about Clay for a hot minute? This is one of those pretty/ugly colors that I lived for when I first got into polish. I’ve got to say, I’m diggin’ it and it’s a creme so you know how I feel about cremes.
