OPI Purple Gradient + Stamping

I really don’t know why I find the most simple nail art techniques extremely challenging. I remember seeing The Nailasaurus’ gradient nail tutorial a million years ago and thinking that it looked fairly easy. I was excited to try it out…until I wasn’t. It turned out to be super difficult for me to get a decent gradient so I basically gave up…not to mention that it was crazy messy. Well, I think times have changed because I now feel more confident after implementing a few tricks. Today I decided to do an OPI purple gradient (yay to my favorite color!) with some stamping. This was also an idea I put into practice because purple is the color of the month over at the OPI Mad Love Facebook Group, and I wanted to create something fun for the group. Cre8tion Stamping Nail Art Lacquer

When I first started stamping back in 2011, I don’t remember there being much to choose from when it came to stamping polishes. In fact, I only remember Konad and I wondered if we would ever get more option. The Konad White and Black stamping polishes were the first stamping polishes that I ever purchased, and they became staples in my collection. I think that if you have a dependable white/black in your collection, you can basically do anything. I have started to brand out when it comes to my stampers as well as you can see in my Pueen Clear Stamper review, but I wasn’t entire successful with it. No matter how hard I tried, my usual stamping polishes did not work as well with my clear stamper. When I was checking out new stuff at my beauty supply stores, I saw a display full of stamping polishes, and I flipped out because they had tons of colors.
