Stamping Saturdays #5

PurchasedMyself

It has been 5 Saturdays since I started up Stamping Saturdays and I think today we have most of the girls participating so I’m super excited. When I say the girls, I am talking about my girls (no, not those!). The girls are Amy, Siobhan, Frosso, Nicole, Amanda, Jessica and Lesley. While I have only met one of these amazing ladies in person so far (Southern California is still not over the polish destruction that Lesley and I caused), I spend so much time emailing back and forth with them about EVERYTHING. And I mean everything. Stamping Saturdays was just an idea for all of us to do something together without the pressure of a challenge. We’re all pretty relaxed about it, and we post when we can. It’s only fitting that today I have my favorite stamping mani ever. Maybe I’m biased, but I absolutely love how this turned out, so I hope that you all love it too. Let’s take a look at my pictures below so you can be the judge.

OPI Ink Suede aI started out with the delicious OPI Ink Suede. Absolutely breathtaking polish. There are no more words.

Konad M64 1aKonad M64 2aI used Konad M64 and my white special polish to stamp this design. I know that there are a lot of polishes out there that work for stamping, but nothing really beats the white special polish. I find that it stamps so cleanly and crisply that it’s definitely worth the expense. I usually buy my konad polishes on amazon and have always been happy with my purchases.

So what do you think about this design? Do you like it as much as I do? For other awesome designs, make sure to check out the links below, Thanks for stopping by today, and I hope you enjoy your weekend.

  1. Wow this is amazing! You definitely hit the mark right on the money! This has too be one of my favorites as well!

    1. I didn’t top coat this because I wanted to maintain the satin/suede look of the polish. I tend to use seche vite for everything as a top coat. However, I always get bleeding and streaking on my stamping designs so lately I have been using quick dry drops. I bought some at Ulta and they are the Essence Nail Art Quick Dry Drops. Once I use the drops and my stamping dries thoroughly, then I wash my hands and use seche vite if I want a super shiny finish. I know it sounds like a lot, but if I am spending a lot of time on a mani, I want to make sure it doesn’t get ruined or smeared.

  2. It is like each week your designs get more awesome! How! How do you take a breath taking colour, stamp it and make a mani MORE breath taking! That is SKILL!

  3. HOW AMAZING IS THAT BLUE POLISH????? Okay, I usually do not type in caps, but I am freaking out about that polish… it looks soooo goooood.

And I just ordered my stamper and some Konad white polish. Wish me luck!!

Great job – my favorite Saturday manicure!!

    1. Stamping polishes are definitely important. I tend to stick with the konad special polishes when I’m stamping in white or black because they are so crisp. Silvers and chromes are great to use from most brands.

  4. Uuuggghhh…yes, these are as amazing as you think they are. They are perfect.
Uuuuggghhh again, I feel like such an inadequate turd. Three-day weekend coming up…stamping practice? Hahaha. Although, we’ll have to see if I get back on track with my manis first…given how it’s been going lately, I can see stamping going NOT SO WELL AT ALL, lol.
And there will be no more polish left in SoCal the next time I visit…third time’s a charm. 😉

    1. I am sure that once you practice, you will get the hang of it. It really isn’t hard but I do think it takes time to perfect your own way of doing it. YES, 3-day weekend means you have time to practice and join us next time.
