Ok, so I know that this color isn’t really blue but more of a purple with some blue in it. However, I kept thinking of the song “Blue Velvet” while I was doing my nails. I also thought of Isabella Rossellini in all her masochistic glory in the movie of the same name. Like tangents much?
First Class Ticket is a purple shimmer dream. It doesn’t look very blue in real life and is definitely one of those dark vampy colors. In the sun, it really shines. There is some pink and blue shimmer hidden in that dark purple base. Oooohhhh so pretty!
And with a stamp. Tada!
Now I have to go buy a present for the baby shower I’m going to tomorrow. I don’t think my nails are baby shower appropriate so I’ll probably change them tomorrow. 🙁

Since I was wearing mauve/lavender that day, I wore OPI Planks A Lot with a white stamp from M73 (the same stamp I used on today's TOMS & Essie mani) The nails were quite a hit. lol But then I didn't want to get changed and all that so I went all girlie colors to watch The Hunger Games. Poo.
Ehhh oh well. I bet those looked really cute! I just wore Planks a lot the other day. It's my kind of pastel-ish color.. kinda dirty and not too sweet 🙂 How was the movie?!?!?!

Ghaaaaaaaaaa! You still haven't seen it? It was actually pretty decent. I try not to be all "the book was better" because that's always the case, but I felt they kept it pretty close to the book. The movie felt a little rushed and choppy…like it didn't have a nice flow to it. But overall, I liked it very much.
I know, I'm so lame!! And- Oh good! My mom said one of the ladies from her work saw it and didn't like it cuz it was too gory… ?? I can't wait to see it. Next weekend I'm going to the beach so maybe the weekend after that…? I can see how it'd be choppy since we've read the book we'll see what was left out but I guess to other people maybe they don't see it. I think it's received decent reviews… I'll just have to see for myself! 🙂
