Hey there Monday readers! I hope that you are having an ok Monday–as ok as Mondays can be anyway. I had a decently boring weekend so I feel somewhat energized for the new week. I am definitely looking forward to the upcoming weekend since I took an extra day off after the holiday so HELLO FOUR DAY WEEKEND! I know that February is a short month so I’m not even going to mention how crazy it feels that we are almost halfway through the second month of 2018. If only California would stop having 80 degree days, that would be awesome. I did a bunch of changes to my blog this weekend and would love to hear what you think about the layout and such. It’s still a work in progress since my coding skills are non-existent and I’ve had to rely on a free template that I will slowly customize. Today I have some polishes from Seventy Seven Nail Lacquer that are part of a small batch release. Let me show you my swatches below.
Seventy Seven Nail Lacquer Jealousy
Seventy Seven Nail Lacquer Baby, I’m Dying
Seventy Seven Nail Lacquer Super Goddess
Seventy Seven Nail Lacquer Count Back From Ten
Seventy Seven Nail Lacquer Always Going Nowhere
Seventy Seven Nail Lacquer She’s A Mess
All of these polishes, except for Baby, Jealousy, have a jelly like consistency with a lot of glitter throughout. The apply rather sheer at one coat but are easily buildable. I applied 2 coats of each polish to achieve my desired opacity. While the formula is a little thicker than I am used to and prefer, they are perfectly workable. Out of all of these, I think Super Goddess is the most interesting one due to the contrasting shimmer. My two favorites are She’s Going Nowhere and She’s A Mess. She’s A Mess has a beautiful snow-like finish and She’s Going Nowhere is just so sparkly and gorgeous. I had not purchased polishes from this brand in a while; actually, the last time I did they had a different bottle shape and brush. I much prefer this bottle and brush so I was happy with the change. I did want to mention that some of the wrapping materials–the bubble wrap–arrived smelling of smoke. I always strive to provide this type of information in my review because many people, myself included, can be affected by scents. I did reach out to Connie and he was very transparent and let me know they are actively working on remedying the problem. I appreciated how transparent Connie was, and I feel confident that this should not be an issue moving forward.
Now, let’s get to the purchase details: these polishes are part of a small batch release so once they are gone, they are gone. They will be available on 2/14/18 at 9:00am PST and will retail for $11 each. Check them out on their website here. You can also join their Facebook Fan Group here to keep up with news on releases.
Thanks so much for stopping by today, and I will talk to you soon!

LOL…so accurate.
Very nice polishes. It’s good to know they are working to remedy the smoke smell.

Those are definitely nice!
I haven’t tried this brand but this is a cohesive collection. Just enough sparkle.
Definitely cohesive!
I am really loving the Liz Phair collection she’s putting out. These polishes are really pretty.

Oh yes…the Liz Phair collection has some amazing shifty polishes. She did great with that one.
Jealousy & Always Going Nowhere are my favourite here 🙂
