Hey, hay, hey! I’ve been dreading Monday and the start of another work week, but what choice do I have? We can’t all win the lottery, quit our jobs, buy a mansion and travel the world…is that my dream? Maybe. I keep wondering about those people who have jobs that they love and can’t wait to get into work. To me, they are as mythical as Unicorns. I want to be a Unicorn!!!!! Anywho, I’ve spent my day running errands, doing laundry and watching stuff on Netflix. I am still obsessed with The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo so I’ve been watching the extended 6 part version as it was aired on Swedish TV and it’s still kind of amazing. I hope that when Hollywood does the other two remakes they are just as great. Personally, I thought the first remake with Rooney Mara and Daniel Craig was very good so I have hope! Moving on to the polish, today I have something simple to show you: Nubar Berry Blue Crush from the Crushed Candy Collection. I really love these fun glitters so let me show you this beauty…
Like most swatches I’ve seen, I layered Berry Blue Crush over black because I love the effect. I wish Nubar was a little more visible because they put out some really great polishes, but I feel like not a lot of people know about them. This glitter was very easy to apply and the clear base wasn’t too thick as is sometimes the case with this kind of polishes.
Lately I’m being very diligent about my spending because I want to buy two things: a new laptop and a new camera. I know I shouldn’t just splurge right now, but I would like to get these two items so that I can work on all my blogging stuff. My blog sale has always gone well so thank you so much to all of you who have made purchases. All of the funds from that are basically going back into my blog so thanks for the support! Well, I hope that you’ve had a nice weekend. Thanks for stopping by today, and I will talk to you soon.
This really is a gorgeous polish! The locally owned beauty supply store (aka my dealer) stopped carrying Nubar because they didn’t sell! 🙁 On another note, I really enjoyed watching The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo (the original version), if you can “enjoy” such an intense movie!

Don’t worry, you already ARE a Unicorn… Glee fans will get what I mean 😉 (It’s a very good thing to be.)
UGH. This polish is SOOOO cute. I agree, Nubar is awesome, and I find it weird that I don’t see it being used much on the blogs I follow. I’ve only got three polishes from them, but everything else I’ve seen looks amazing… they’re really good at topper/effect polishes. I have Nubar 2010 (which is basically the same as Essie Shine of the Times, both gorgeous flakie toppers), and the black and white Polka Dot polishes, which are basic but nice to have in my nail art arsenal. 🙂 I love all three of them a lot, and I’m excited for whenever I’ll have a chance to purchase more.

I wish I was as good with nail art as you are! I am good with makeup though 🙂 I hope you stop by my blog again. take care 🙂 Diary of a trendaholic. blogspot. ca
I think this polish is so much pettier over black than on its own. This is gorgeous. I really like the depth you get with layering it.
True thing, about the Nubar. Don’t think i have ever seen a shop that carries Nubar around here, or any other places i have bought polish. which is strange … they are great, so why not?

I saw something on I think Instagram today that was like, “If you don’t wake up in the morning excited to pick up your work where you left off yesterday, you haven’t found your passion.” I couldn’t even laugh…I was too busy hiding under the covers.
This looks adorable.
Well, you already are a unicorn! Maybe not a lottery winning unicorn yet, but…it could still happen!
oooh this is so pretty!!
