Guess what? I feel like an old lady today. Since I had the day off, I slept in a little too much even though I had a lot of things to do. Well, it was about 8 am when I decided to get out of bed, but I was still feeling really lazy so I thought it would be a good idea to stretch out. You know how good it feels to stretch out in your bed before getting up? Well, let me tell you what a nightmare that one little stretch turned into. I heard this really weird sound and felt like there was a pop/tear in my back. What the hell? Then I tried to get up, and I literally wanted to cry because my back hurt so bad. I had to roll out of bed and then try to get up. Ever since then, I have had this really dull pain on the left side of my back and any time I lean forward or turn to my left, it hurts even worse. Ok, I know I’m not a spring chicken, but is 33 really that old? I remember being a kid and falling out of trees, getting hit in the gut during dodge ball or getting hit in the face during kickball and it was like nothing even happened 2 seconds later. And now all of a sudden a freaking stretch wrecked my day? Oh boy…I don’t even want to think what’s going to happen when I’m in my 40’s: I’m going to break my leg when I stub my toe on the dresser? This is not going to turn into an “I’m so old” rant, I just hope that my back feels better tomorrow since I do have to go to the gym. Oh, by the way–the gym thing is going kind of freaking awesome. The only thing is that I am not remembering all the reasons why I personally hate the gym so much: people talking so loud I can hear them through my headphones, women in full make-up and hair on the elliptical machines “exercising”, people admiring themselves on the mirror the whole time they are “working out.” I guess I could go on forever, but I won’t because all I care about is getting in there, sweating my poundage off and getting the eff out. I love that feeling of accomplishment after a good workout so I am hoping this helps me stay motivated.
Oh, yeah…this post was supposed to be about polish, huh? Well, I have an interesting one to show you today: Morgan Taylor Nail Lacquer Something To Blog About.
I’m sure I’m not the only one who immediately thought of this song/movie, right? I really, really, really enjoyed that movie!!! Anyway, let’s take a lot at the polish:
I have to admit that the main reason I got this polish is because of the name. I just thought it was silly and fun considering that is exactly what I was going to do with the polish! I am a purple lover so I liked the duochrome here but I knew that it would probably be lost on the nail. Well, I’ve got to say that I am not really a fan of the formula on this one (gasp!) because it is so thin! It took 4 thickish coats to get full coverage which is unheard of in my Morgan Taylor experience. I honestly don’t think the color is that awesome, but it’s alright.
So, now I’m thinking I’m going to die tomorrow at work since I have to be there so early. I better get to bed but let me know what you think of this color! That way I’ll have something fun to read when I get to work tomorrow. Thanks so much for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend!
Gorgeous color! 🙂 I need to try this brand out 😀

I highly recommed it!
My knees have been killing me lately! And I’m only 34 (okay, almost 35!)! It’s too bad because I still think of myself as 25 or so. 😛
I’m not a fan of this color or finish – it’s just not my favorite. :/

Hehe…I’m kind of the opposite in the sense that I have felt 30-something since I was in my teens. I have finally caught up mentally! lol
Yeah, this was not my favorite either and for it to take 4 coats?! Fuggedaboutit!
Just be happy that you don’t smell like my favorite perfume of Menthol, from using Icy Hot in your 40’s. The good news is that I honestly only use it about one a month in the comforts of home. Anyways, Me NO Like this polish.
LOL…OMG!!! LMAO!!! I actually put some icy hot on my knee yesterday because it was hurting. hahahahahaha
Yeah, I am right there with you on this polish. No one is liking it. LOL
Sorry to hear about your back, but I am really glad to hear that the gym thing is going well. You go, Glenn Coco! 😉
Eeehhh…I don’t like this color. Even me, who usually is kind of down with frosts. My first thought was, “This is not something to blog about.” And the formula is not great…nope, nope, nope.
I wonder if it’s like the purple one from those ChG Bohemian polishes?
Anyway, I had to come to work today, too, BAH!
