According to WordPress, I just published my 200th post. Wow, really?! I started this blog in late 2011 so that seems like an awful lot. Well, what should I do? I’ve never done a giveaway and that seems kinda fun. I have no idea how people run giveaways so I guess I’m going to have to do some research.
I want to thank everyone who visits my blog. I love the feedback and interacting with all of you so much! No one understands the mind of a psychotic nail polish hoarder like other psychotic nail polish hoarders.
The other day I ran across an article talking about how facebook cracks down on how giveaways are being handled and that some people have had their accounts deactivated. Apparently these rules have been around for a while but no one was paying much attention to them. It seems that you can’t ask people to “Like” your facebook page for an entry in a giveaway and you can’t advertise a giveaway on facebook either. Eh? I am not sure I understood correctly. Every giveaway I have entered recently asked me to “like” their facebook page so that seems weird.
In any case, if you have any suggestions on how to do a giveaway with the least amount of headaches, please share!! I don’t really know what I would like to give away either. Hmmmm….I guess I could contemplate it this month and then do it in June since I’m not buying any nail stuff in May.

Congrats! You post A LOT lol. I'm at around140 and I started late October last year. I had no idea about the FB liking thing…I usually skip that option when I'm entering contests. I like to keep my personal fb seperate from my blogging life…sometimes I don't want to look at anything polish related if you can believe it or not lol. There's one fb page I visit a lot for polish stuff but thats about it. Anyways…I've done a couple of giveaways so far. I used rafflecopter for both. It was pretty easy for me. I know others use random.org too…but I think rafflecopter does all the work for you. You might have to moderate random.org more on your part to look for any cheaters and all that. Hope that helps!

I totally get keeping your personal FB out of blogging. I've done the same by only using my blog page fb for anything nail polish related. Like I need judgement from my friends and family. hahaha
lol I know…I even delete any polish activity I may do from my profile and newsfeed so no one can see how sick I am.
I used to do that too about my make-up until people in my family starting giving me grief…as if the money came out of their pockets! Now I just don't post it at all…make up or nails.
