Oh hai there! Didn’t think you’d be seeing me again so soon, huh? Well, since the pre-order for these polishes starts tomorrow, I figured I might as well get up my review and swatches of them today to give you a little heads up. Every time that I see new Lacquester shades, my heart seems to skip a beat, so let’s take a look at my swatches of the Lacquester Color4Nails Group Customs for November 2018.
Lacquester El Nido
A very uplifting green/blue base with loads of red/gold/green shimmer, color changing flakies and a holographic finish.
Lacquester Perle von Nurnberg
A gorgeous lavender/mauve base with a color shift from purple to green and tiny color shifting flakies.
Aren’t these stunning? Yes, I have a different (weird?) nail shape because I had a bunch of nail mishaps. I really can’t deal with having slightly longish nails because I bump them on everything so of course I broke a couple of nails and had to round them off so I could do some swatching. I CAN’T stand having nails of different lengths and shapes so this is the best that I could do. I had absolutely no problems with the formula of these polishes: they were opaque at 2 coats, self-leveling and easy to control for a smooth cuticle line. Lacquester has a wide-ish fluffy brush that I really like but I know it may not be everyone’s cup of tea. Also please keep in mind that the bottles are on the smaller side being 11ml/0.37floz. Personally, I don’t mind the smaller size because Lacquester always has unique finishes and I will rarely–if ever–finish a full .5oz bottle of polish since I have so many.
