Hello friends! I’m currently on day 3 of my vacation, and I am being beyond lazy. For these last three days, I get up, shower, put on PJ’s and repeat at night. Ahhhh…that’s the life! Today I’m going to have to actually do stuff since Thanksgiving dinner preparations must start early. I did a bunch of swatching before I filed my nails all the way down so I’ll have a few weeks of nail rest. Today I have the Darling Diva Color4Nails Group Customs for November 2018 so let’s take a look at my swatches below.
Darling Diva Hau’oli Male’ana
Hau’oli Male’ana is described as a rose gold holo with two different types of shimmer including a gold shimmer and a color shifting shimmer that goes from blue to gold to green. It has ghost flakies that go from red to green. It also has chameleon flakes that go from a deep violet purple to a red.
Darling Diva Me Ka Aloha
Me Ka Aloha is a pale green holo with two different types of shimmer. It also has green to purple ghost flakies, red to yellow ghost flakies and pink to green multichrome flakies.
Both of these polishes had a nice formula. The first coat seemed a little sheer but the second coat resulted in perfectly opaque coverage. When I first saw these shades in the bottle, I didn’t think that I was going to like them because they looked very metallic/frosty, but they ended up growing on me because they are very complex. Even though I normally prefer to wear much darker hues, these are really pretty and delicate. Both are equally beautiful and very lovely shades with an awesome finish ♡
I don’t usually like frosty finishes with glitters or flakes in them because it can look more like a Franken. These do not look like that at. All. I absolutely love both of these!
A little frosty for me but definitely unique. I like the base color of the green.
