For today’s post, I am excited to show you KBShimmer Hubble’d Together so let’s move on to the swatches!
Holy moly this is pretty. Here is the official description and information on the polish:
Hubble, the world’s first large, space-based optical telescope, has taken many beautiful pictures of the planets and stars. Our April Polish Pick Up contribution pays homage to the Hubble, with this polish based on a photo it took of Jupiter, its three moons and their shadows. Out polish starts with a teal leaning mint base. This jelly base is loaded with holographic micro flakes for shimmer and shine. Unicorn flakes echo the pastel shades of this colorful photo, while glow powder gives this polish a green cast in the dark. Best in 2-3 coats or 1-2 over a complimentary base. Layer 1 coat over black for a unique flake filled look.
I am such a sucker for any teal/mint polish so this is right up my alley. After applying the first coat, I thought it was very sheer and that it would take multiple coats to get full opacity, but I ended up doing 3 thin coats and, and I loved the end result. Unfortunately I was not able to capture the glow in the dark qualities of this polish because I am photography challenged, but I’m sure other bloggers will be able to showcase it. Best of all, you won’t have to worry about rushing to get this polish before it sells out because there are no caps. What do you think about this polish? This color is SO pretty! Too bad you couldn’t get it to glow.
It is pretty! I just didn’t even try. From past experience, getting pictures of the glow in the dark qualities is not my forte. lol
