Jindie Nails Chomp Chomp!

Here is the polish a few of you had inquired about: Chom Chomp! When I first visited Jen’s shop, this is one of the polishes that immediately caught my attention because of the bright colors. It’s just so in your face that I couldn’t help loving it. This polish is part of her Football Season collection so it is limited edition which means that if you want it, go get it now! I wasn’t sure what polish to wear under this glitter so I went with a soft white.

I really love the color of this polish but it is a freaking nightmare to apply. It’s streaky as hell and it took 4 coats to get it to look like this. I am guessing this is some kind of French Manicure type of polish because it’s just too much of a nightmare to be worn alone. I actually have worn this alone before and have gotten a lot of compliments.

How pretty is this polish? It drive me nuts to see all that mostly matte glitter…I love it!

This is one coat of Chomp Chomp! over Sephora by OPI Private Access. I did a little random dotting of glitter but not enough to call it a second coat. I am really loving this glitter and can’t wait to try it over a different base color. New items are being added all the time so go check out Jen’s shop here.

Are you ready for the long Labor Day weekend? I am not planning on doing anything because it’s so freaking hot that all I want to so is lay in front of my fan very scantily clad. These are the times I wish I lived alone! lol I might go to the beach but I’m sure it will be a parking nightmare so maybe I will brave the bus. Oh boy…I’m sure that will be a story. So please have fun and stay safe!

  1. This looks so cool, I'll have to check out this shop!im so happy I'm out of Vegas for te weekend, I'm just so tired of this heat!

  2. I just read your tag "enabling is caring," too funny and oh so true. <3
You are really tempting me with these glitter polishes. I like to like at them, but not wear too much due to the difficulty in removal. What remover/method do you use? Maybe I'll purchase a Jindie polish or two.

My Labor Day weekend will be a relaxing one as well. I'm planning to attend an African arts fest later today if it's not raining and Sunday a House music party with some old college girlfriends. Monday will be a day of rest to prepare for Tuesday and the return to work. 🙁
    Enjoy your weekend Cynthia. 🙂

    1. That was seriously my biggest problem with wearing glitters: I hated the removal. I have been using the foil method to remove difficult glitters but for bigger glitters, I've even used non-acetone remover and they have been ok. I just soak the cotton pad and leave it in for a minute and then start trying to wipe away and it usually works. It is a pain sometimes but I think the glitters are worth it. You should totally try a Jindie. 🙂 How funny is it that Victoria is friends with her and I didn't even know. haha! I'll have to tell her.

Your weekend sounds nice. I seriously did not do anything at all today. My brother is having a bbq but I ended up not going cause I wasn't in the mood. I've been having tv show marathons on Netflix and I've been trying to clean all day…operative word being "trying."

      Anyway–hope you have a great time! 🙂

  3. For Labor Day my parents always have this pitch and putt hole in one tournament because my dad has a golf green in the backyard. I actually won it two years in a row, but that was about 3 years ago so…. :-/ Maybe this year I'll win and blow the winnings (5 bucks per person, usually is about 60 bucks or so) on nail polish!! 😀 Anyway- so we have a big family get together there. My husband has to work so he'll be coming later but it'll be fun. Besides that I'm mostly laying low and doing laundry after vacation. It's a vacation yet I come back so tired… How does that work?? Also I need to do some blog posts because I think I've done like 3 in the last 3 weeks or so. 🙁 Your weekend sounds pretty good- I vote you kick your bro out to the beach and you stay in front of the fan. Just grab a towel or something when the UPS guy comes… He's seen enough. 😉

    1. Will I never live down the whole ACCIDENTALLY flashing the UPS guy thing? haha My brother has been gone since 5 so I've been quite comfortable. lol

That's usually how it happens: you need a vacation after you come home from vacation. How was Minnie when you went to pick your doggies up? I bet she went bananas.

All that family stuff sounds fun. My brother and sil were having a bbq today but I ended up being lazy and not going. Besides, him and his friends like to drink up a storm and since I don't drink…meh. It's not usually fun being around drunk people when you don't drink. hahaha And uhm, you better win!! Save that moola up for the Halo Hues…if they ever do come out. *sigh*
