Heyyyo! We are about two weeks away from the end of the year and I’m sitting here scratching my head wondering where most of the year went. I’m still sound of mind (debatable), so I guess I don’t have too much to complain about. I noticed that I’ve had these swatches in my drafts folder for about 3 months, so I figured I might as well clear them out. I don’t know why this incredible laziness comes over me when it comes to actually putting a blog post together. Many people will say that swatching, photographing and editing pictures are the hardest and most time consuming parts of blogging, but I dread sitting down and writing up posts the most.. I guess part of it is that I have severe blogger burnout. Every time I try to pump myself up, I end up just flaking out. Let’s put my general laziness aside and focus on the polish…oh the polish! I think that the CND Creative Play polishes are old news now, but when I first saw these a few months ago at my local beauty supply, I was intrigued because I had never heard of this line. CND is obviously a well known brand for professionals so I was very curious to see what the Creative Play line offered to us “non-professionals.” Well, let me show you some swatches of the four polishes I picked up.
CND Creative Play Isle Never Let You Go
CND Creative Play Head Over TealÂ
CND Creative Play Royalista
CND Creative Play Berry Shocking
Look, there is nothing revolutionary about these polishes, but they are nice. The cremes are deliciously smooth so you won’t be disappointed. The one polish that was little difficult was Isle Never let you go because it was so darn sheer. I ended up applying 4 coats to make it look good, but I have seen people layer it over other colors with pretty nice results. Overall, I think these are nice and safe polishes. I didn’t see too many unique colors in the full display, but I can see myself picking up more shades to round out my collection of staple colors. Let me know what you think of these polishes; have you seen them or tried any yet? Thanks so much for stopping by today, and I will talk to you soon!
I still love reading your posts, but I understand burnout! Do you wear polish on a daily basis?
Thanks, Rebecca! I don’t usually wear nail polish–definitely not when I was swatching so much. Lately I’ve been doing my nails and leaving the color on for a week or more so at least I’m getting some use out of my huge stash.

I’m totally with you. Swatches, pics and edits are always ready. Actually getting the post together is what I drag my feet on. This is a lovely post that makes me long for warm beach days. I like Isle Never Let You Go most!
It’s been so chilly here lately that I’m looking forward to Spring.

Beautiful shades! Im with you 100% on getting blog posts written up. I always prefer swatching, photographing, and editing.
If only they could write themselves up! lol

I’m definitely feeling the blogger burnout myself. I get writers block easily, so posts tend to sit around unless they are press samples. I haven’t tried CND Creative Play yet, but I’m sure it will happen eventually.

I think they are pretty nice polishes and I love round bottles. I just do. I hope you like them when you try them. 🙂

I’m off blogging at the mo but only due to giving my nails a break after an allergic reaction to something. I miss it so much and feel lost! Stunning and flawless swatches x
Thanks, Tracey! Sometimes an unexpected break is good, but I hope that you get better soon.

Girl I so feel you on the burnout, I have quite a bit of a backlog. But somehow I feel better knowing I am not alone haha. I love your swatches, Play Head Over Teal looks so pretty on you!

Thanks! I do love teals and I’m glad I’m starting to capture teals a little more accurately. That is one of my problem colors with the camera/lighting I use.

I have been feeling the same exact way about blogging! I don’t know why but sometimes I just can’t see to sit down and write a post! I didn’t even know about this line! I will definitely have to check them out! I have on of their polishes but I never use it because I don’t have any other gel polishes!
So many of us have been feeling uninspired and just plain burned out by blogging. I hope things change in the new year with a fresh start.
