Happy Friday! I’m so glad the weekend is almost upon us so I can veg a little, and maybe work on organizing my melmers. I don’t know what to do about my nail polish storage situation, so I guess that’s the reason why I have been shopping my stash lately. Although I see plenty of pretty new polishes being released on a weekly basis, I cringe at the idea of trying to find the space to store the steady stream of polishes that I get. One thing that I haven’t been able to stop doing is checking out destashes and evilbay for old discontinued polishes. Because of this, I wanted to resume doing something: Vintage Polish Friday. This is something that was started, to my knowledge, by Nichole from Bedlam Beauty. I posted a few times but I was going through a slump and kind of gave up on it. I would love it if you would join me on instagram each Friday and post an old, discontinued or vintage polish of your choice and use hashtag #vintagepolishfriday so I can check out all your awesome manis. If you are a true polish enthusiast, you know how beloved the China Glaze OMG Collection is, so I have been trying to collect all 12 polishes. For my first #vintagepolishfriday mani, I have China Glaze QT to share with you.

I freaking love hot pink nail polish so when you add holo into the mix, I hyperventilate. I think that this is my favorite polish from the ones I do have from this collection. It suffers from the same formula issues that all of its brothers and sisters do, but I totally think it’s worth it to see it come alive in the sunlight. I applied 3 coats of this polish to get full opacity. I love bright polish and never care what season it is: I will wear what I like! I really hope that you join me each Friday and show off your vintage polishes because they deserve the love! Let me know what you think about this polish in the comments below. I hope you have a great weekend. Thanks so much for stopping by today, and I will talk to you soon!

This is a very beautiful polish indeed. I have sold so many polishes as I had a panic attack when I realised just how many I had!
LOL. I did that at a few points over the years. The last time was in 2012 because I was jobless and was afraid I wouldn’t find work quickly enough. I must have sold almost $900 worth of polish. It was good to destash, but I just ended up buying most back and then some.

Great idea from Nichole! I think once I get through my untrieds (gah! So many!) , I’ll join you for vintage Fridays.

Okay I’m going to try this but I don’t know how many vintage polishes I have ?
I think we can interpret “vintage” rather loosely. The OMG polishes aren’t so old, but they have a definite vintage feel due to them being discontinued and hard to find unless you resort to ebay or destashes. I hope you do join in! It will be fun to see them all. 🙂
This one is gorgeous! I wish they would make another holo themed set.
Me too! I know the Hologram collection disappointed a lot of people, but I liked them. These holos were obviously superior.
You are really making me want to pull all of these out!
You totally should. OMG holos never get old.
