Well, April is here and the heat is coming with it! The weather has definitely been heating up and I’m not happy about it one bit. I complain about the weather every Spring/Summer so maybe I should do something about it and move somewhere super cold–then I can complain about the cold…ha! KBShimmer I Just Wanna Fly – PPU April 2021

Don’t telll me that you aren’t humming the Sugar Ray song right now. Although I was born in 1979 and grew up with all that 80’s goodness, I wasn’t a teen until the 90’s and that is when most of my best memories are deeply entrenched. The theme for PPU this most is the 90’s and I was so excited to see what makers would come up with. KBShimmer With The Band – PPU March 2021

So what is up with it being March already? One year ago we were barely moving into a bunch of lockdowns; I was living in a temporary place while I waited for my apartment to finish up some remodeling work; and I was miserable and terrified about the future. KBShimmer Enchanted Forest Collection

Last night when I was sleeping, I kicked my blanket off and slept without it. Yep, Spring is just around the corner here in California. Hello on this first day of February. One year ago, our lives started to turn upside down due to the pandemix and I’m sad to say that we are still on that struggle bus. I hope that things start to get better for all of us. I am hopeful but still incredibly disappointed by the behaviors I see. Anywho, I really hope that things turn around. KBShimmer Rose Glow – PPU January 2021

KBShimmer Cat & Pajamas – PPU December 2020

We are nearing the end of 2020 which has been a complete disaster in my mind. It has been a year of loss and frustration and we have all had to adapt to this new “normal.” I don’t know about you, but I’m hoping and praying for things to improve soon. It is only fitting for December’s PPU theme to be “Everything is fine.” KBShimmer Cat & Pajamas is a lovely shade that I am sure you will like for those palate cleanser days but when you still need a little something extra. KBShimmer Love At Frost Sight Collection

Hey, guess what? I’m on vacation this week which means that I am going to do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING for the next 5 days. Actually, that sounds like all of 2020 so far, but at least I can sleep in and not worry about being late to work. I’ve been working a lot lately so I decided to take 3 days off and combine them with the Thanksgiving break. I really am going to try to enjoy this week off by doing some reading and probably some organizing of my polish.
