Nails Inc. Baker Street

How do you feel about blue nail polish? As a nail polish enthusiast, I think that most nail polish colors seem normal, but I’ve noticed that other people think it’s an off color for nails. I think that nail art has become so mainstream, that nothing is really that shocking anymore. Nails Inc. Baker Street is a polish that I had salivated over for a while but somehow hadn’t gotten around to purchasing. If you read my blog, you probably know that Nails Inc. cremes are just about my favorite polishes in the nail world. Before I got my hands on this polish, I received a lovely dupe by Kiko which I reviewed here. Kiko #336 really is a perfect exact dupe, but I could not resist getting both of them. Is it a sickness? You be the judge.

Nails Inc. Baker Street is a such a lovely and saturated cobalt blue. This polish definitely needs two coats because the first coat was a little thin. I actually found that the Kiko applied slightly better. I still love both of them!

I haven’t used my beloved Sticks ‘n Stones in a while so I dusted it off for this manicure.

This was my first purchase from Ninja Polish and I couldn’t have been happier. Since I would never get the Dramarella version of this polish, I’m so happy that this came out. You can purchase it here if you’re interested. Also, in case you are wondering how Sticks ‘n Stones compares to Lynderella Connect The Dots and even Dollish Polish Putting On The Ritzzz, check out this post over at My Lucid Bubble.

So there you have it, my polish peeps. How do you feel about bold colors such as Baker Street?

  1. I love this!! I’m glad you decided to do your nails again. This looks so pretty! I really want some Nails Inc cremes. And I know you have a really awesome one in your blog sale but… It’ll have to wait I’m afraid. This blue w the black and white glitter looks amazing. πŸ™‚ Great combo. I’d wanna leave it on for a couple of days, too. πŸ˜€

    1. Thank you! I’m kind of staring at my nails now because it’s just such a pretty effect. I think maybe tomorrow I will slap on a coat of Gelous just so that it’s all perfectly smooth. I have some random bumpy glitters but nothing too bad. There is this really awesome mani that I saw on another blog that I want to do. It’s like a white half moon and this blue on the rest of the nail. Then the white part has a black design on it. I want to do that but stamp black on the white half moon. Ahhh…why do I get all these ideas when I already have on a mani I love???

    1. Thank you! I think it is my favorite intense blue which is saying a lot. πŸ™‚ The glitter looked even better on it than I had imagined. However, I was looking around online and I saw someone layering Max Factor Fantasy Fire on this and it looks AMAZING. Now I want to do that too. lol I am so fickle.

    1. I bet that looks great as an accent color. Ahhh…I debated so much about getting MWTGG but I just can’t pay that much for any nail polish even if it is gold. lol I can imagine that it will look amazing on this polish, though! I’m looking forward to see your manicure with those two babies.

    1. I was wondering the same thing! I don’t know when/if I’ll be able to get more nail polish so you’ll have to let me know when you get it. hehehe.

I’m telling you…Baker Street is just perfect on so many levels. It might just be my deserted island polish too…

  2. AAAHHH, I LOVE IT, AGAIN!!! I have nothing but way too much enthusiasm for your nails today!
Love Baker Street, wanted it since I saw it on Jess’ blog, will have it at some point! LOVE it with the Sticks & Stones!
How do I feel about blue polish? Pretty freaking obsessed with it, that’s how I feel. πŸ˜‰ And in my world, it pretty much has to be bold or I’m not a fan. πŸ˜‰

    1. Omg, you have no idea how sad I was about this mani. It completely fell apart by the next morning. It was the strangest thing. I went and took a shower and right away a couple of my nails had some polish lifting at the corners. Then the seche was like peeling off the top…huh? I ended up taking it off that morning. I wonder if the seche just didn’t mesh well with both polishes? I also forgot to use a base coat so maybe that would have helped.

      1. Oh, no!!! πŸ™ I hope that it was just forgetting the base coat, ya goof!!! At least you have the pics for the memories, hahaha.

        1. Pics for the memories…why did I just think about an ex? I don’t know if it was just the base coat thing because the seche vite was peeling off on it’s own. It was the strangest thing. Maybe next time I will try a base coat AND a different top coat.

    1. I’m sorry! The polish elves made me do it! Honestly, I was so happy about this combination until my manicure fell apart the next morning. That’s what I get for forgetting to use a basecoat.

  3. I love Baker Street and bold colors in general. I keep meaning to do this combo but haven’t got around to it yet! It looks great but I like sticks n’ stones over pretty much anything!
