This past weekend I lost myself in a Netflix induced coma and watched so many amazing movies. Have you seen The Innocents? It was such a heartbreaking movie, and I won’t forget it any time soon. I know it’s still a couple of months away, but I can’t wait for Captain Marvel and then Infinity War Endgame. I also wanted to report that I watched Aquaman and was thoroughly disappointed despite how much I enjoy seeing Jason Momoa. Anyway, enough about movies. Today I am sharing my swatches of the Zoya Winter Holos Trio and I hope you like them. Let’s take a look at my swatches below.

I am very hesitant to call these holos since they have a very delicate scattered holographic finish that only shows up in the perfect lighting. I very much like the finish of these, but again…they’re not really that holo. For all three of these shades, I applied 2 coats and they were perfectly opaque. For my pictures, the first shot is in direct sunlight while the next two were taken under artificial light. As you can tell, even in direct sunlight the holo wasn’t that strong. From this trio, my favorite shade is Cadence for sure.
What do you think about this trio? As I mentioned above, I don’t really consider these very strong holos so I find them perfect for the office or if you just prefer more conservative nail looks. I love Zoya holos, they offer such a different look than the strong linear holos we see so much of.
Brighton is pretty but reminds me a lot of Butter London’s All Hail The Queen which I already have. It isn’t quite the same color but close enough for me. As far as the rest they are okay, but nothing really stands out.

I really love these kind of holo flakes! Especially in the red base.
