My neighbor asked me this when she saw me taking pictures of my nails this afternoon. She’s about 3 years old and very talkative. I told her that I was taking pictures because I wanted to share how they looked with some friends and she thought that was cool. Invariably, someone always catches me taking pictures of my nails outside, and I always get strange looks. It used to bother me but not anymore…the light is too good.
I was messing around with the OPI drawer in my melmer and I saw Fly. I love Fly because it’s so bright and creamy looking so I decided to use it today. I actually hadn’t used it since I swatched it a while back. I know you like it. Don’t tell me it’s not gorgeous.
Since I’ve been trying to lay off the Konad, I played around with another color and my Jessica holo topcoat. OPI Pamplona purple is the other polish I picked for this manicure.
Frankly, this was way too much work for me. I am going to try to leave this on my nails at least 3 days because it’s a waste of time otherwise. How often do you change your nails? What are you wearing right now?

I know, huh? lol They feel so long right now that they are starting to bug me. I really like Fast Track! I don't ever remember if you wore nail polish the time you were visiting. We were too busy playing with make-up.
Ooh so 80's. Love it.
I change my polish every day to every other day, unless it is something expensive and/or hard to find, like my Lynnderella's.
Oh and I was wearing Julep Maria with Enchated Polish Cray Cray over it, but I just took it off. I did my BFs nails in Rescue Beauty Lounge's Locavore, so I may do that one tonight! 🙂

I had to google Cray Cray and it looks so fun…and that's from someone who doesn't like glitter that much. I think I just love holo period and will deal with glitter if it's in the mix. How do you like the formula on Maria? I keep hearing mixed reviews.

Fly is soo pretty, but it stained my nails horribly! Even with a base coat! D: i love the teal and purple combo btw. I'm off work tomorrow so i get to paint my nails! Yay! I'm debating between zoya raven with either layla flash black, lynnderella glittering crowd or boy-girl party, or ozotic #506 over it; deborah lippmann on the beach or illamasqua rare with lynnderella connect the dots over it. See what happens when you aren't allowed to have painted nails at work?! It becomes nearly impossible to decide how to do your nails when you can! Lol
I don't remember if this stained my nails or not. I hope it doesn't! Grrrrrrrr! That is the main reason why I was disappointed with Nails Inc Warwick Way. Stupid stainers!

I havent posted on my blog in so long! D: my batteries in my camera have been dead and it just doesnt work the same without lithium ones.plus, the walmart here is in the process of moving to a new store, and they've already moved the entire photo/battery dept! Wth?!

This came out really pretty, I love blue/turquoise and purples, especially together. I change my polish almost nightly. Trying to at least change it every other night, especially since I've been posting less…but its such a hard habit to break.

I don't like fly. It's such an ugly color and just looks terrible.

She'd have to be dead for me to a) not like a pretty teal/turqoise/blue/whatever b) not like a Nicki Minaj ANYTHING and c) pretty much not like any polish. I'm an easy sell.

And it's really funny cuz I just posted that one mani with the purple and fly as the marbled color and here you are probably on the same day I wore mine with the same color combo. I like your glitter over the top tho. We were practically nail twins! Great minds think alike!! Haha. Right now I'm wearing Essie Jelly Apple. Just it. Plain. It's boring me half to death but considering I fell asleep painting my nails last night (no joke) I decided to leave them plain and just be thankful they weren't all beat to shit. I wanna do something over them tonight tho- maybe something in purple. I'm trying to ease off the stamping a bit too (till the new BMs come out) so idk what I'll do. :-/
I don't have a single person in my life that I see regularly that is as obsessed with nail polish as I am. It's kind of a bummer especially when people try to make me feel like it's weird that I like nail polish so much. Like why is it their business that I love changing my nails every day? That's why I'm so glad I found this online community…it's so fun to share without the judgment!
That is so weird that we were wearing the same color without even knowing…it's so true…we are like nail twins! And how do you fall asleep while painting your nails?? I am picturing you just falling asleep mid brush stroke like if you were narcoleptic or something. So I got some amazon gift cards and now I don't know if I should get the BM or RA plates…but I guess this would qualify as some kind of nail purchase so I guess I will have to wait.

Oh yeah I don't have anyone irl who is even remotely as interested in np as I am. My mom thinks it's fun and whatever but she doesn't care to do much with her nails, just mauve polish and she'll humor me trying new variations (gouda gouda two shoes for example) and different topcoats/basecoats I get her. She never uses them and I just use them to touch up my nails when I come over. haha. Blogging is totally fun for that exact reason- other people not only chat with you and relate to you but actually seek you out! It's amazing there are so many of us. I try not to make apologies or feel weird tho, I just tell people it's my hobby- like I used to read all the time, people watch TV, my husband makes beer, etc. 🙂 They still give me funny looks but I just flip them off with a perfectly manicured finger. Jk on that last part… I only do it in my mind.
Oh- and to clear it up it pretty much WAS like narcolepsy. I was dozing while watching Fashion Star and trying to put the last couple coats on my nails and I just all of the sudden woke up with my hands kinda in my lap and my nail polish brush pretty much on my knuckle. No spilled polish tho!! I'm THAT good. :p I finished up really quick, didn't even clean up my cuticles and went to bed.
Oh- and I vote the RA plates cuz BM is coming out with a new set like ANY DAY NOW (I'm sooo excited, I've seen a couple plates and they're super cute) so you might wanna wait till the new set comes out to decide which BM set you want. And if you wait till the end of the sad, sad moratorium you'll have them to choose from anyway.I'm getting the new BMs the second they are released. I can't wait. 😀
