Hey there! Welcome to another installment of Stamping Saturdays! Last week I went to Sally’s telling myself that all I needed was a bottle of Yellow Stopper, but of course I was lured in by the discount/sale section. By the way, do any of you guys use Yellow Stopper as a peel off base coat? I guess I was under the (incorrect) impression that it could be used while swatching but no peeling happened so now I ended up with a huge bottle that I have no use for. It’s so annoying. Anyway, while I was at Sally’s I saw this Orly polish off on its own and it ended up being under $2. When does that ever happen? I guess I am just lucky when it comes to polish. Why can’t I be lucky with the lottery, hmmm?
Orly Teal Unreal is a gorgeous teal polish that unfortunately photographs blue because my camera hates me real bad. The polish is incredibly pigmented and is gorgeous at two coats. The best part is that it does not stain at all so it’s a total winner in my book.
I’ve been wanting to use this design from plate MoYou London Back To The 70’s – 03 (press sample) for a while now, but it always seemed kind of a weird image. I ended up liking this quite a bit because my placement came out pretty good. It also helped that my Pure Ice Silver Mercedes stamps like a dream.
So what do you think about this mani? Is it just kinda weird or are you digging it? Do you have any fun weekend plans? We are probably going to be going out to dinner for my dad’s birthday since he turned 76 yesterday. Well, I hope you’re doing well and make sure you check out the other manis below. Thanks so much for the visit, and I will talk to you soon.
PSSSST! Hey, you! Yes, it’s me again. I wanted to invite you to join our stamping group. If you like to stamp, come join us by clicking on the image below to be taken to the group page. The group is growing, and we’d love to have you participate.
Your stamping always comes out so nicely. #Stamping envy.
Ah! Thank you, Cindi!
The stamping is perfection! I would have struggled lining it up myself.

Thanks, Lisa. I’m actually surprised at how well they lined up. I wasn’t even trying to get them all the same because I figured it would be impossible. lol
Awesome find and I’m also jealous of your stamping skills! A lot of people say you need two coats of Yellow Stopper as a base to be able to peel it off easily, so you could try that if you haven’t already! 🙂

Oh! Thanks for the tip. I will try a couple of coats next time.
I love this stamping and the colors
Thanks, Diane!
Whoa! I’m so in love with this combo. That ORLY is GORGEOUS on you. Also try the peel off base by UNT. It is AMAZING. I will never purchase anything else for as long as I live.
I got that from Live Love Polish I think? omg, have I used it?! I plan to, I am feeling some glitter coming on!!
Let me know how you like it! I want to get it now too.
Omg, I’ve been wanting to try that because I always see Simply Nailogical using it and I see how it comes up when she’s using vinyls sometimes. Well, that’s all the encouragement that I needed. Thanks! lol
I really love this! No way I could’ve gotten this stamp to work. I know I need practice. But, *sigh*!!!
The crazy part is that I was not trying to line it up perfectly because I figured it would be impossible and then when they actually lined up perfectly I was in shock.
That ORLY is gorgeous on you!!
As for yellow stopper – I always use 2 coats when I’m applying anything with glitter and that’s the only time it will peel off for me. Using it with cremes or non glitter polish doesn’t peel, just removes easier so I guess that’s why bloggers use it for swatching.

Ah, that makes sense. I guess I should have done more research before buying the huge bottle because I just don’t think I’m going to use it much.
Your stamping is insane…if I wasn’t your friend I’d hate you right now.
LOL…thanks?
I keep meaning to join you guys for Stamping Saturdays, but I never seem to get my stuff together in time. As for your discount polish – nice find!

Well, I’m looking forward to you joining us! 😉 I’ve been good about planning ahead but I’m definitely guilty of leaving everything until the last minute sometimes.
Thanks for the invite! I really do like this design. That creme looks absolutely delicious!
It really is! I can’t believe I got it for so cheap.
Very nice color and that is one of my favorite patterns to use for stamping.

Isn’t it great? I thought it was going to be a nightmare to line up, but it turned out pretty great.
LOVE! So crisp and clean, and I love the silver. Without a doubt our taste seems very similar.

I’m pretty happy with how it turned out. I had tried it with another stamping polish a while back and it did not come out crisp at all. I’m glad this Pure Ice doesn’t disappoint.
