Ok, I’m super excited that it is Friday because that means that I have tomorrow off and I can be semi-lazy once I get my laundry, cleaning and errands done. Uhm, ok, that doesn’t sound like a lazy day, but that’s what happens when you only have one weekend day off. I sort of had a total womp, womp day today because I was super excited about getting out of work today and going to pick up a bottle of Tom Ford Black Sugar and the Essie Encrusted Treasures Collection. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to get either so here I am totally disappointed. Polish disappointment is the worst. Fortunately, I had some awesome nail mail waiting for me at home so at least my Friday was salvaged. Polish to the rescue! The polish I have to share with you today is Sation Let’s Mingle & Jingle. Let’s take a look at it.
This is Sation Let’s Mingle & Jingle and yes, it is gorgeous. This polish was part of Sation’s 2012 Holiday Collection called Holiday Golightly and sadly it is discontinued, but I think there is still stock available at various etailers. The sapphire blue base is deceptively thin at the first coat, but it does build up nicely so you should get good coverage with two coats.
While I was writing up this post, I was catching up on last night’s episode of Scandal. HOLY CRAP. OMG I love this show. I have such a soft spot for Huck and I am totally in love with Noel…I mean, Jake! Scott Foley will always be Noel to me. Remember how amazing he was in Felicity? Speaking of old shows, do you guys remember a show called Relativity? It was with Kimberly Williams and she played an American student who went to Rome and met another American student there who then followed her back home? I loved that show and then it got cancelled. Le pooh. Anyway, I’m totally talking about random crap so I’ll stop now. Let me know what you think about this polish: do you like it or not? Do you think it’s too early to start talking about holiday polishes? Thanks so much for stopping by today, and I will talk to you soon.
I think this color is gorgeous, but last thing I want to hear is that it has been discontinued! Why even do a review for a color from a year ago that’s hard to find? That’s disappointing, please stick with the current colors so if we like them we can possibility go buy it. Thank you! I enjoy your blog!
I like when people review discontinued polishes. I wouldn’t have discovered Shine of the Times that way. You can still find that polish, you know.
You’re right–this one is still very readily available on online etailers as are most polishes unless we’re talking about really old and coveted polishes. 🙂
Thanks for your input! I blog about polishes that I am wearing whether they are old/discontinued or new. I would say 99% of the polishes that I show are available either in store or online so I’m not too concerned about availability problems. And even if they weren’t available, I would still show them because they are too pretty not to be shown. Besides, for a lot of us lacqueristas, the trill of the hunt is half the fun!
Very pretty 🙂
I’m glad that you like it!
I love this gorgeous polish! It looks like snow falling on a cold winters sky. If this ever makes it to your blog sale, I’m all over it. What a beautiful droolworthy polish. I might see what I can find online because I do love that and it would look perfect on me.
I still see it available at a few etailers even though Sation discontinued it. I hope you can get a bottle because it’s really beautiful and worth having.
Woa, it looks like a starry heaven! 😀 I think it’s okay to start showing christmas things, I mean for me personally I want to be able o buy them before christmas and then it doesn’t hurt to see swatches of them before to decide which ones I want t buy. 😛
It does look heavenly, doesn’t it? I just love jelly-like polishes with glitter in them.
This is so freakin’ gorgeous! I don’t mind if you review discontinued polishes, I still like seeing different nail polishes just in case I can pick them up later or swap with someone else. 🙂
I really like it too. Nowadays, it’s pretty easy to find most polishes online and you’re right: swapping is huge!
Oh, that is such a lovely polish and those swatches are P E R F E C T I O N !
Please keep showing older and discontinued polishes…I like to see some older gems now and again. It is nice to hunt down some older polishes 🙂

I’m glad that you like it. I’ve had this one for a while and never tried it out but it certainly is gorgeous.
“I can be semi-lazy once I get my laundry, cleaning and errands done.” Being an adult – it’s the best! *fart noise*
Polish disappointment is the worst.” Indeed! But…look at this gorgeous color that you have to comfort you! I was excited about this collection last year, but feel like it was released completely under the radar…I saw the press releases, then heard nothing else about it. It is making me want to obsessively Google it, and then buy them all, haha.
OMG, Felicity! I completely scorned that show until a bunch of girls in the dorms would all gather together to watch it. Then I used to take my obsession home with me and force my family to watch it while I was on break, haha.
I do not mind talking about holiday polishes. Thinking about the holiday hullaballoo makes me nauseous, though, but I know it’s coooommmming…
I shouldn’t have even said anything, I thought it would be impossible to find but I did find one on Amazon for 3.50 but got screwed on shipping for 10.50!
Holy moly! I hate how they gouge us on shipping. That’s ridiculous!!!! Someone told me they bought theirs at http://ldnailsupply.com and that it cost like $6-$7 shipping included.
No words! ABSOLUTELY LOVE this colour! Reminds of a night sky with twinkling stars!
V beat me too it i agree, love this
