Hello friends. This year I feel like I have a lot to be thankful for because I haven’t had a major health crisis (knock on wood), I enjoy my job, everyone in my family is relatively healthy and I am feeling positive and upbeat. I want to wish you and your loved ones a very Happy Thanksgiving (if you are American and/or celebrate the holiday). I feel like wearing Tom Ford Bitter Bitch has become a Thanksgiving tradition for me so here it is.
My nails are painfully short right now because I filed them down to nubs, but I am kinda digging them with this dark color. I haven’t worn this since last year, and I always seem to forget how horrible the formula is. This time around, I feel like I had some evaporation so the first coat went on like a paste. It was disgusting. I added a few drops of Orly nail polish thinner and that seemed to help some, but it still felt off. I also noticed that it had that satanic polish smell a la Kleancolor. It wasn’t completely horrible, but it did have that scent. I applied two generous coats and then did some touch up on a few nails because I could see the color was uneven. Ugh!! Don’t you think that a polish that costs $37 for 12ml/0.41oz should at least have a great formula? I can get a better formula from a $3 Wet N Wild polish! Despite all this, the color is kind of amazing. It looks like melted silky chocolate on your nails. I have to admit that I also love the name, and I’m a huge Tom Ford fan–what a sexy beast he is.
Anyway, that’s all I have for you today. Once again, I wish you and your loved ones the best Thanksgiving. I’ll be eating extra ham, mashed potatoes and pie today!
