Lately I’ve seen quite a few people comment that they are tired of seeing Unicorn Pee polishes and others have questioned how limited the stock is if makers continue to put out polishes with this rare pigment. In all honesty, I don’t really care where the UP is coming from, I will continue to purchase them because I love the effect of the original unicorn pee pigment. I have heard that there are makers who still have stockpiles of the pigment from before it was discontinued, so I hope to see more beautiful creations. Today I have a polish for you that contains some of this beautiful pigment: Colors by Llarowe Hang Ten . Let me show you some swatches below.

This polish is 1 of 10 that make up the Let’s Head To The Beach Collection. At first, I wasn’t that interested in these because a lot of them seemed super sheer and we all know how I feel about VNL. Well, once swatches started popping up I decided I would limit myself to two shades and then go pick up some more if need be. Welp, I do love these. I think that I went a little overboard with the number of coats because I wanted to eliminate VNL as much as possible so I ended up with 4 coats. While the polish looked rather opaque after 3 coats I noticed that with my bright lights, you could still see VNL in my pictures so I added a fourth coat. The polish is described as having a blurple jelly base with original unicorn pee pigment and aurora pigment that shifts red to gold to green. I purchased my bottle at Color4Nails for $11.00 and stock is still available.

Let me know what you think of this polish and if you purchased any from this collection. Which other colors should I pick up? Thanks so much for stopping by today, and I will talk to you soon.

  1. Gorgeous polish and unfortunately I don’t have any of that Collection.
Those who complain about the UP’s have no manners and respect.

  2. Love this polish! I’m in no way tired of unicorn pee polish, I love all beautiful polish no matter the style / type… can always appreciate beauty ?. Great swatches as always!

  3. I am not tired of seeing UP polishes, but I do have to agree on the questionability of the scarcity of the pigment. I bet this looks fantastic over a purple base!
