I really want to get through all my Zoya polishes and swatch them all, but I seem to acquire more bottles than I can keep up with. Last week I bought a few new Zoya babies and this is the first one that I decided to try. Kimmy is such a bright red with gold shimmer and I was instantly attracted to it despite the fact that I don’t usually like metallic-looking colors. You want to know the best part? This is a one-coater!! I used two here, but you can get away with one thickish coat.

Since I was in a MASH plate binge, I decided to use plate 45 for this design with Konad special polish in black.

 

And the last three pictures are just of my latest binge. I can’t wait until I get to play with all of these colors, especially the a-englands!!! I am going on a no polish week and giving my nails a chance to grow and recover…hopefully I will be able to stick to it and not freak out about a whole week sans polish.

    1. Thank you! It does look very similar to Kimber, but I think Kimber is pink while Kimmy is more red. They're both gorgeous. 🙂

    1. Thank you! I am a little worried about the a-englands because I tried a swatch on one nail and once it dried, it peeled off like a sheet of plastic. It was so strange!!!! I am hoping that maybe I had oils on my nails and that's what made it act weird. I do love the colors, though.

  7. YOU are accumulating polish quicker than you can use it? You DON'T say!!! :p Seriously now- I love the stamping here. I have GOT to get those mash plates. I need them, like, yesterday. and this polish is really pretty too. I don't even like reds and it's making me wanna paint my nails red. Actually I kinda lied- I do like reds when my nails are super short like they are now. When they get longer- ew. These nails look absolutely awesome tho. Love love love them.

Seriously…you get these mash plates, I get the red angel plates and we call it even. I am so going to let my nails grow out so they curve and get all curly and beautiful…like shirley temple's ringlets.

        1. LOL…can you imagine if one day you clicked on a new post and my nails were all long and curly with RED nail polish?? hahahahahaha

    1. I think in stores, you can probably only find it at Ulta but most people buy online because they have a lot of promotions. Ohhh…did you go polish shopping??

  16. I'm on my phone, so the colors sometimes get jacked.. but i think i spy charlaaaaaaaaaaa. My faaaaaaavorite! And possibly mimi and faye or daul? 🙂 i love zoya so so much. I wish they'd hurry up and do a great promo because i want a bunch of the new colors! But right now i can't buy anything because i'm going on vacation next week :/ so i suppose it's good there's no promo so I'm forced to wait lol

    I have no particular feeling about this color…don't love it, don't hate it…but I do REALLY like it with the stamping! I love the bold graphic with the shimmer underneath!
    Excited to see your Zoyas…glass flecks for the win!

    1. Haha…that was divine inspiration on the ringlets. I can really picture nails looking like that and I kind of have to dry heave. Ewwwww. I really liked how bold the stamping was on this mani too. 🙂
