Zoya Charisma

Now that I took off yesterday’s ick job, I wanted to try out something super bright. Zoya Charisma to the rescue! I was really surprised that this dried matte; I should have paid more attention to the description on Zoya’s page.

I love how saturated this color is: it’s glowing. I didn’t notice that there is slight vnl, but it doesn’t really bother me. This could be a one-coater if you’re careful enough, but I did two coats to even everything out. I guess I don’t have too much to say about this polish except that it’s pretty!

I should not have taken a freaking nap in the middle of the day…if you can call sleeping for 3 hours a nap. I hope I can fall asleep tonight. Soooo…I am debating about going to the gym tonight. I feel like everything I’ve been posting lately is all about the gym, but I just really have to lose weight for my health. Since I’m feeling motivated lately, I might as well take advantage of it, right? Sorry if all the gym talk is boring!

  1. This polish looks cool! Can you believe I have exactly ZERO Zoyas?? I might have to change that. A 3 hour nap sounds just about right to me! Haha. In case you haven't noticed, I'm always up super late and so when I work (which is only a few days a week usually) I get like a few hours of sleep so I take a nice long nap when I get home πŸ™‚ I usually only take about an hour and a half but 3 would be AWESOME sometimes. haha. I don't mind all your gym talk, I only get annoyed with people who act like that somehow makes them soooo special or they're sooooo cool cuz they go to the gym. Your gym talk is more normal and honest so it doesn't bug me one bit. Good for you! Did you end up going tonight?

      I ended up not going to the gym Sunday night. Since I had already walked like 3 miles in the morning, I didn't feel so bad.

  2. Gym talk is great. It helps you keep accountable…and I know you're going! LOL. Today is full body workout for me…tomorrow is 'run day', lol. DREAD! I like this color. I find Zoya's apply VERY nice.

    1. I know I've mentioned Friends before and I think you watch that show (or used to). Do you remember the episode where Chandler wants to lose weight and Monica gets all psycho-excited until he breaks her down and makes her feel bad about herself and not having a bf or job? Well, I think that's me right now…Monica, that is. Since my friend is going to the gym with me, I am getting all psycho motivational. I message her with stuff like: Can't wait to go to the gym tomorrow! We're doing awesome! and she responds with: I can't walk up my stairs. I hurt everywhere.

      What do you do on your non-run days? Weights? Other resistance stuff? I would seriously dread run days too.

      I'm really happy with Zoya overall…especially because they always run awesome promos. I kinda hate paying $8 per bottle so I always wait for promos.

      1. Non run days I do targeted resistance training using only my body as resistance (no machines since I work out at home). I run Tues, Wed, Thurs, Fri, and occasionally Sun. Mon, Wed, and Fri are workouts. Monday is arms, Wednesday is core, Friday is full body. It sounds like a lot but it's actually only 30 minutes out of my day really. I use SparkPeople as my tracker. It keeps me accountable too. I might up the intensity of my runs since I'm getting better at them.

        I never watched much Friends, but don't get yourself down about the man thing. Don't even look for him. He'll find you πŸ™‚ The job, well, I'm going to get one of those eventually and you will too πŸ™‚

        1. I'm trying to get a schedule set like that. Now that I've been consistent for a week, I am getting into a groove where I am craving exercise…that's always a good sign!

          I think I used Spark People at one point…not sure. I'll look into it again because I need something like that.
